Thank you so much, I had these super sketchy when I was younger, revisiting it now in my late 20s as a fat boi has been humbling

At 2:03 you say if you have a deep tuck HS it allows you to bring your knees down very far but puts your back in an arch. This is exactly the situation I'm in- do you have any suggestions for ways to go from an arch to a rounded back? Thanks so much, great video as always

Does this press version require open shoulders or a freestanding tuck handstand? I’m the very last press you do, you seem to be planching the shoulders for most of the movement and going right into a banana handstand, so it doesn’t seem like the shoulders need to be fully open or capable of full flexion.

What about falling with your face on the ground?

hey paul just a quick question about hand positioning. Ive seen other vids talking about rotating the hands outwards when doing the eccentric and notice you dont really mention it. what are your thoughts on it ? is it necessary ?
@PaulTwyman Жыл бұрын
yes I normally mention it most of my videos, external rotation and slightly wider hands normally works better for the strength moves

Why r u a big fan of doing kneeling jumps ? I don't like jumps at all 😂😂 i got the eccentric i can hold the tight tuck planche now. For the concentrics i should practice those kneeling jumps right? 😭😆

Yeah I like kneeling entries as it sends the energy up to handstand instead of over plus trains the lower hip positon

5 seconds in, casually does the press to handstand while talking through the movement. Me: I came to the right place 🥹
