I’m not wanting to start anything but I’m not exactly sure how to handle a few people in my life that are adamant about when the time of Jesus’s second return. I am a believer and have a personal relationship with Christ Jesus my Saviour and I do believe in His second coming. I’m not sure about the extremes of the happenings of this time.

Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, modern Dispensational Theology falls apart, and the pretrib removal of the Church falls with it. The Capitol "C" Church, as we use the word today, is not found in the entire Book of Revelation. Individual church bodies in ancient Asia Minor are found. In Revelation 12:11 we find those under the blood of the Lamb. A person cannot be under the blood of the Lamb and not be a part of the New Covenant Church of Jesus Christ. Verse 12 of this passage proves at least part of the tribulation period is the wrath of Satan upon the people of God. Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. "It may come as a surprise to most pre-Trib prophecy students that the post-Trib position (in its primitive form) is the oldest point of view." The quotation above is from the book "Will You Escape The Tribulation? RAPTURE [Under Attack]", by Tim LaHaye, copyright 1998, Page 197. The gathering of the Church is described at the end of 1 Thess. Chapter 4, and the timing of the event is found in chapter 5. The word “But” in the first verse of chapter 5 connects the two chapters, and the words “we” and “sleep” in verse 10 of chapter 5 prove the two chapters are connected.

I completely agree with this Dr Brown’s analysis here about the rapture. I studied theology in an Assemblies of God college - none of the rapture theology made any biblical sense. You really had to stretch and have the predisposition of “rapture” to believe this could be true. If Rapture weee true, it would clearly be the most miraculous event in world history- if it’s true, the Bible would be much more clear about it. We have to major in the majors of the bible.

wilma Eulberg, Jesus didn't say one was taken and another left behind. He said one is received alongside and another sent away, which are the two outcomes in the parable of ten virgins. The lesson for all of these examples in Matt 24-25 is a warning to watch because you don't know the day or hour when the Son of man comes, and Jesus expounded on this in Luke 21, warning everyone to repent from sin, to watch and pray always to be accounted worthy to escape all the things that are coming to pass and stand before him.

I don't belong to any "camp." Whether Yeshua returns pre, mid, or post, during a feast of trumpets, or not, I'm going to be ready and endure to the end. Right before I got saved I had a vision of Yeshua's return. Because I had not yet put my faith in the blood of Yeshua to take away my sin it was a fearsome vision. I knew I was a sinner, I knew I was headed to Hell, I knew Yeshua was coming soon, I repented nightly and asked God to forgive me. I don't remember hearing a sermon on the 2nd coming, that He would be coming in the clouds, nor do I remember hearing anything about hell. I knew it. The Holy Spirit led me and ripened me so much so that when the teacher at church said, "The blood of Jesus takes away your sin," I thought, "What?! Why didn't someone tell me SOONER?!" I was 4 and I had been going to that church for awhile. I knew at 4 that was THE MOST IMPORTANT message, and it still is. I've always believed Yeshua was coming in my lifetime. I hope He does, but if He doesn't I'm still going to be looking for Him. A lot has happened since 1984. A lot has happened since 1971. Really good points. Yeshua said we would not see Him again until Jerusalem said "Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord." Israel is key. Yeshua told the disciples they would not finish going through the cities of Israel before the coming of the Son of Man. Roman's 11 basically says when the Jews realize Yeshua is the Messiah it will be life to the whole world. I sincerely have a heart for the Jews. I'm praying for them. They are the apple of His eye.

Why has the modern Church done a pitiful job of sharing the Gospel with modern Orthodox Jews? Why would someone tell them they are God's chosen people and then fail to share the Gospel with them? Who is the seed of the woman promised in Genesis 3:15? Who is the "son" in Psalm 2? Who is the "suffering servant" of Isaiah 53? Who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34? Who would fulfill the timeline of Daniel chapter 9 before the second temple was destroyed? Why have we not heard this simple Old Testament Gospel preached on Christian television in the United States on a regular basis? There are Biblical scholars, rabbis,messianic Jews, gentile believers on both sides of the rapture question. One is right and one is wrong. My unsettling question is that they all have the same in dwelling Spirit of GOD who is called the teacher and Spirit of truth, why are there 2 different answers?

Linda Cook, differences of opinion on various doctrines can be attributed to the fact that God gifts people differently. It's also affected by human ego and pride sometimes. I've seen people throw a fit rather than admit they were wrong about the rapture and repent, even when presented with proof. For example, it's often claimed that the rapture didn't exist until the 1800s, so we shouldn't find it in archives, but the archives prove that Englishmen started writing about Dispensationalism and the Rapture rescue during the Reformation. And their rediscovery was made possible by the translation of God's word into English, then the widespread distribution of Bibles because Bibles had been restricted to keep people in the dark and under control.

Personally I would disagree with the idea that the verse speaking to taking the 1 woman and leaving 1 grinding, or 2 in the bed, and 1 taken, as being applied to pulling up the weeds as was mentioned. It seems to coincide more with the rapture @ the 2nd coming of God, which also correlates with the "Angels being sent out to the 4 corners of the earth to gather the elect." It feels more consistent with the message of that gathering, changing at the twinkling of the eyes; however, I ultimately do not know. That's just my personal take. God bless you all!

You are right, the word "taken" in Luke 17:34-37 is G 3880=paralambano, to take to oneself. Joseph took Mary to himself,same word. It relates to the Rapture, the gathering unto Jesus for ever. The sudden destruction comes over the other one left, he is eaten by birds at His parousia Mat 24:27+28-31, His 2.coming.

The problem with Christians these days from the beginning of the church is that they disagree about many subjects that should be clear and unambiguous. They argue about what Paul meant by "under the law." I can keep going, but it's clear that the confusion and the number of variant interpretations of passages throughout the bible are probably the big reasons why so many in the world look at the church and say, "Yeah, not for me!"

Yeshua is another name of Joshua bin Nun and translated in the Greek Septuagint as Iesous, that was His name in the KJV of 1611, from Iesous comes later Jesus, which is translated different in other languages. The name refers to the person of Yeshua, who is God and knows the hearts of everyone, who calls on His"name" in believing faith and saves them. If you speak of Yeshua to an unbelieving Jew, he thinks first of Joshua bin Nun. The name Jesus is much more known, the Jews call Him Jeshu, which is a cursed name. It is not a big deal, the name Jesus saves, heals, delivers and hears prayer. I use both names and both work. But I agree, I prefer Yeshua=God saves. Yeshua's official name was Yehoshua, Yeshua is a shortcut.

Yes, the Rapture happens, when He comes in the clouds and that is after the Tribulation, when He gathers by His angels HIS elect, that are ALL NT surviving and resurrected NT Saints, and not only surviving Jews or Tribulation Saints as some want to tell us, but they have no coming nor a resurrection of the NT Saints, not one scripture that this happens 7 years before His 2. coming, His return to earth (parousia). @@gailsutton6135 The wrath of God is the orge wrath in Greek, the judgment of the wicked, the Sudden Destruction of 1.Thess 5:1-5. This Wrath is not in the Tribulation, that is thumos anger over sinners for repentance, not eternal judgment, but temporal, the orge wrath is poured out at His 2.coming, when He treads the wine press of God's wrath (Rev 19:15), not before. The Rapture is before the wrath, the same day (Luke 17:29+30, at the 7th trump Rev 11:15-18. The First Resurrection (Rev 20:4-6) is the resurrection of the NT Saints together with the remaining, surviving Saints after the resurrection of the first fruits (1.Cor 15:23+24) and 1000 years before the last and final one. If you can count, it will be after the Tribulation and not 1007 years before the Tribulation., then ALL NT Saints, including the Saints of the Tribulation will be changed in a moment at the last trump (1.Cor 15:51+52). There is a dispensation of grace after the dispensation of the law. The grace begins with the coming of Christ and John the Baptist preached the coming Kingdom and this gospel will be preached till the end of this age (Mat 24:14), when Yeshua returns. The everlasting gospel will be preached in the Great Tribulation Rev 14:6).

Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, modern Dispensational Theology falls apart, and the pretrib removal of the Church falls with it. "It may come as a surprise to most pre-Trib prophecy students that the post-Trib position (in its primitive form) is the oldest point of view." The quotation above is from the book "Will You Escape The Tribulation? RAPTURE [Under Attack]", by Tim LaHaye, copyright 1998, Page 197. The gathering of the Church is described at the end of 1 Thess. Chapter 4, and the timing of the event is found in chapter 5. The word “But” in the first verse of chapter 5 connects the two chapters, and the words “we” and “sleep” in verse 10 of chapter 5 prove the two chapters are connected.

"The bible makes it Very clear" I found that not long after I was saved that Rev ch 6 proves pretribe rapture is false teahing and people don't want to here it which is bad. 1st thess 1:10 and 5:9 and Romans 5:9 say we are not appointed the wrath but the wrath doesn't happen until after the tribulations have come. Rev ch 6 is the tribulation and it has begun and the saints are there in Rev 6:9-11,still there. But in Rev 6:16-17 we see the Wrath has come. What worries me is that a lot of believers will believe that there belief was in vain and lose faith. We will suffer the Tribulation but not wrath. I believe Rev 6:12-17 descibes a nuclear war,ever watch videos of nuclear bombs rolling the clouds like a scroll. Thats the only way John could describe what he saw. You see in Rev ch 7:9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, 10 and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” 11 All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12 saying: “Amen! Yes the messianic believers and remnant nation of israeli believers will be kept during tribulation but there are maryters during the tribulation also. the trib is totally different that persecution throughout the 2000 years. the nation of Israel as believers will cry out baruch haba bashem Adonai. and Yeshua will return at Rosh Hashana time because it is a time you don't know the day or hour. And a prior to this Jacobs trouble the rapture occurs. Matthew 24 Yeshua is talking to Jewish believers about the kingdom coming and fulfilling the promise of the kingdom to them (Nation of Israel) - the millinial kingdom. Three raptures in the end times??? First Rapture mentioned in Zechariah 9:14/ 1 Corinthians 15:51-53 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 First fruits Resurrection. Pre-Tribulation Rapture. Second Rapture mentioned in Revelation 11:1-13, the Rapture of the two witnesses, Elijah and Moses, three and a half years into the Tribulation, along with millions of former backslidden followers of YESHUA. These did not receive the mark of the Beast. Mid-Tribulation Rapture. Third Rapture in Revelation 11:15-19 at the end of the Great Tribulation!!! The seventh trumpet 🎺 has sounded!!! Glory to the LAMB OF GOD!!! Post-Tribulation Rapture. I apologize for not having more Scriptures. I recently moved and have boxes 📦 with my Scriptures tucked away. There is only one Rapture in the end times according to scripture. We ALL will be changed in a moment at the last trump. There is only one last trump (1.Cor15:51+52; Rev 10:7+11:15-18), when the NT Saints will be gathered unto HIM at His parousia, return, 2.coming (2.Thess 2:1), That is the resurrection of the NT Saints (1.Cor 15:23), after the first fruits (Christ with the OT Saints), the main harvest at the last day (jn 6:39,40,44,54), it is 1000 years before the end, when all the rest of the dead are raised including the Millennium Saints, the gleanings. The Rapture of the 2 witnesses can happen together with NT Saints, it is the same time at the great earthquake, when the Rapture of the NT Saints also happens. But if not, this 2 witnesses do not count as a harvest or the resurrection of a group as in 1.Cor 15:20, 23+24). Zech 9;1i4 is His 2. coming (Armageddon), not before the Tribulation, 1.Cor 15:51-53 is at the last trump, the mystery of verse 51 is fulfilled with the 7th trumpet, then the Lord will also blow the Trump of God and the NT Saints will be changed to glory. 1.Thess 4:16+17 is the same event at His 2. coming (Mat 24:29-31; Rev 6:12-17; 11:15-18; 16:15-20; 19:15) with the Rapture and the Sudden Destruction at the same day (Luke 17:29+30) after (with the end of) the Great Tribulation, when ALL things are fulfilled (Dan 12:7), the end of the 3 1/2 year GT (Dan 7:25).
