Very nice. Any way to fix worn splines where the kick start lever slides onto the kick shaft?

Would have been cool to see you put a grease point on the kicklever

No one greases their kickstarters or their brake pedals, I can't stand sloppy controls. I wonder why Husky started with such an oddball metric size? Couldn't even be 11.5mm because the pin was bigger than that and it couldn't be 12 because the holes were smaller than that! It certainly wouldn't be a standard size either being a Husky... Love your work brother, you'll be glad we aren't neighbors because I'd want to fine tune my skills with your help!!

99 problems in life and this actually it is one on my '81 xr500r. .....But w/only minimal tools and lacking flowage of fettia, I am going to chuck it in the vice and hammer away w/the 5lb'r. We'll see if that'll help it.

I've been getting by with a magnet zip tied onto my frame. Keeps er in check!

@@sloppyoppie When I was broke and had very limited tools, I'd often use an arc welder and build things up, then file it smooth, was the best I could do. But then the ball and spring could keep it in place again.

@@dc6233 yeah, this is legit and actually quite good methods as welds are very hard. Done something like few times with success
