Pavarotti Never seen before taping Il Barcaiolo

Luciano Pavarotti taping Il Barcaiolo by Gaetano Donizetti. Leone Magiera on piano in Modena, Italy, 1987. I was studying at the time with his teacher Arrigo Pola and got to spend some time with the great tenor. I have had these outtakes for 30 years but was never sure if I should make them public. I do so because they are fun and show how Luciano was simply marvelous.

He's drinking and putting lemon water below his nostrils, it helps clear the mucus membranes and the sinuses.... All singers especially opera singers have certain things they do to help keep them in good voice.... Especially at something like a filming where the voice is on and off quite a bit between takes... Perhaps asking before you judge next time would be more considerate, especially in regard to one of the greatest tenors of opera.
