I think Ovi is more rounded, but Datsyuk for sure with skills
@FlameProVid8 жыл бұрын
+Dineth Altmann Ovechkin is a great shooter, Datsyuk steals the puck, reads the opponents forecheck, makes great assists and scores clutch goals. If you want to judge based on goal scoring, then Alex wins. However, as far as a 'well rounded player' Datsyuk is the winner. Both are amazing in their own right.
@dinethaltmann95828 жыл бұрын
+FlameProVid Guess we have different definitions for well rounded. I was saying Ovi had good hands, a great shot and he's also very physical. Datsyuk, like you said, is very good at defense and his hands are excellent. But I still feel Ovi is pretty well rounded

I have a pro stock Datsyuk stick and it may be the most unique pattern I’ve seen/used. Backhanders are effortless bc its basically flat with very little curve to it, and it’s about 1-2 inches longer than any other pattern. He uses a lie of 4 and that’s also a strange thing to get used to. Needless to say, having used one of his sticks makes me wonder how tf he does all of these things lol could watch him practice for hours on end

What skates are those? I have reebok 18k's but I don't think they're "NHL standard" skates.
@mashedpotatoes62258 жыл бұрын
+Pece17 I think most pros put their feet in some sort of mud which then is send to the fabric to produce the skate after the shape of their feet. Like tailor-made skates. Some are also using custom-skates without a brand.
@Pece178 жыл бұрын
Mashed Potatoes Yeah, but Crosby for example used Reebok 20k. Most skates are bakeable so I think the molding is done that way.

togarthrxd12 I'm impressed by your knowledge. The funny thing is that I asked about the skates almost a year ago but I still haven't actually tried them once since I haven't bothered to bake them yet. I'm just using my old skates and my 700$ 18ks are sitting in closet.
