I really like the way you break down the body mechanics needed to make the board respond the way you want with minimal effort. I've been riding for a little over two weeks now and have started picking up on some of the points you laid out but having it explained so well really helps.

Tremendously helpful vid. Having no board experience, I had been turning by pushing my shoulder in the direction I wanted to go, as suggested in another vid. Even after 35 miles on my pint, turns still felt sketchy. Started using the knees/ankles per this vid, and turns instantly got so much easier, so much more fun, and so much less fatigue. THANK YOU!

I've been riding about 10 days, 24 total miles so far. I watched your videos on foot placement and this one on carving, and felt like my skill level doubled over night. I'd been trying to find a good foot placement but I don't know if I ever would have come up with your placement, which gives me incredible control. I'm nothing like an experienced rider, but I can carve and have fun now, before I was struggling to turn any kind of smooth at all.

Hey man, stuff like this just doesnt exist on the net yet and I found this super helpful. I had no issues doing toe turns but for the life of me couldnt really master the heel turn more than a light banking thats where you came in. This tutorial helped me manage tight carving which has given me the confidence to take this baby into tight CBD / urban environments without worrying about nailing pedestrians or cars. Thanks!

For that last tip I remember reading somewhere that a certain kind of surfers from Hawaii used to hold small rocks while they surfed as counterweights. It gave them more control and flexibility while riding, because like you said... arms are light. Adding as little as a fee ounces or a single pound to the end of an outstretched arm can make a difference. I just thought it was cool and this video reminded me of that.

Excellent tutorial I use the weighting and unweighting method in my turns where you bend knees and let body weight fall down into the turn then push up with knees coming out of the turn along with bit if hip twist the technique comes from surf skateboarding.

Dude..... I have been struggling with my Onewheel so much and you just helped me so much. You should do a video on how to dial the app settings if you have not already as this also made a huge difference in helping me learn. I went custom and changed stuff to slowest speed and least carve to start. Way easier to start off with. THANK GOD I AM NOT AFRAID OF IT ANY MORE. I seriously thought I was going to have to sell it. I was bummed out bro. THANK YOU.
