what would be really cool is if instead of putting the track on cement there you should have made a tunnel going under the path is that track strong enough for people to walk on it. Just a thought.

The track is more than stabel enough to walk on it and roll the trash cans over it as well. At first a tunnel was planned but measuring revealed that there was not enough hight difference so I have been going with the crossing.

Great work, the walkway turned out great, lot of extra work, but worth it. Look forward to seeing the signal box work coming up. Do you plan to run the train on track power or battery?

I will work on the outside of the signal box pretty soon. All of the electrical stuff inside the box will be a winter project since I can work indoors. For now I will focus on track installation and so on... The trains will be run on track power.

Moin! Vielen Dank für das Lob. Ich nenne Franken mein Zuhause. Was die Fahrzeuge angeht möchte ich mich nicht auf eines einschränken. Meine Favoriten liegen bei den Fahrzeugen der Rhb und HSB.

Moin zurück, also die RhB ist nicht so meins. Aber ein RhB Krokodil habe ich auch. Ich habe mich auch nicht auf eine Bahngesellschaft beschränkt. Ich habe Fahrzeuge viele Deutsche Schmalspurbahn wo auch die HSB mit zu meinen Lieblingen gehört. Aber auch die Regelspur finde ich gut. Und Amerikanische habe ich auch davon aber nicht zu Viele.

What is the track plan you have in mind for your garden

I do have a rough plan in mind where I wanna end up in the end and how I am going to get there but I do change and modify the plans a lot as a go. So there is no exact plan that I can share. I do know that the layout will be roughly 100 meters in length and has 3 station areas when finished. But it will take me another 2 years to get to this extend.

I got hands on this signal box through a friend of mine. He told me about a privat workshop of which the owner passed away. No one knew what to do with it so I took it and now it is going to be used in a good way :)

How much width between track in mm for laying garden railway and suitable voltage of controle your model rail operation

Hi! This is G-scale or also known as IIm. The track width is 45mm and the scale is 1:22,5. The trains will run analog from 0 to 24 volts. If you are using a digital system the track will always have 24 volts. Hope I was able to help! Enjoy your Railroad :)

Hoffentlich bleiben die Pflastersteine immer Winter unten. Könnte sein das Du Schäden bekommst. Frostfreie Gründung, ca. 80cm tief.

Fachlich absolut richtig. Hätte ich den Weg im Kundenauftrag gebaut hätte ich auch tiefer gegraben. Da ich aber aus Erfahrung weiß das in meinen heimischen Umgebungsbedingungen auch die guten 30cm für diesen Fußweg außreichend sind habe ich das ganze so gelößt. Bis jetzt ist alles wie ich es verlegt habe und ich bin guter Dinge das das auch so bleibt...
