Should compaction be before or after concrete edge installation?

Hi there great question! Edge restraint must be installed prior to the final compaction of your pavers.

There supposed to be a barrier all the way up to the entrance of my garage ? The contractor is putting down a cloth layer then dumping gravel on it, but the protective layer is 6 inches short of the entrance to my garage is this going to cause concrete problems ?
