my first race training day on a laser we suddenly got hit with 35+ knots of wind I almost death rolled I would have if it was a standard but thankfully it was a radial.

i went out in my topper in some heavy winds that randomly picked up to 47 knots. everyone capsized including me but i was the only one who got their boat up and actually sailed through it.
