This makes perfect sense! The 03 needs some extra dampening as well maybe install some rubber o-rings.

Them rubber bushing that came with em , I never have any luck getting in inbetween the plate. So I cut that end off and just put screws in and only had bushing inbetween the cage and the plate , and I got a flush screw mount to the plate ,, no jello whatsoever , and screws to loose can cause jello too !! Duh !! Lol , love the little drone

And it sucked to half to unhook camera from the module to feed the cable in the middle of the cage , and I chickened out on trying the dipoles to connect to the dji radio too !! Used the dji antenna , and had to unhook it too from the module to get it in the cage ,, but so far so good ,

A second channel?! Thanks for sharing. I was on the edge of getting this thing as i am slowly migrating my analog towards an all DJI fleet. Maybe aomeone can build a better cage.

Shouldn't dampers be on shoulder bolts which are specd to go down to a height and then bottom out - as in impossible to over-compress the dampers?

I was gonna drill out m2 holes all the way through and use a small nut on top... where can i purchase those longer screws or know what size? Great vid..

I had mine 3 weeks ago Put the 03 unit and no jello My 03 cam wire is at the bottom of air unit loose and at the back where is looped got unit plug going true just to stop moving back and forward

Took delivery of mine today and had jello first flight so slackened of the screws which made it better. More testing required. One thing I noticed though was how hot the air unit got in just a 3 minute flight. Too hot to touch is that normal? Also a stupid question but are the props just push on or is there a thread on the motor shaft?

Yes, it get very hot, that's normal. The props are just push on.

Yes, that is how I fly mine. Switched SBUS to UART6.

Clearly it is a design issue. Look at that tiny frame bracket for the cam.

Not everyone is having the same problem I have. After a lot more testing and discussion with other owners, I'm thinking I got a one-off dud or a bad build. The design isn't 100% rock solid, but if it's a bad design, everyone would have the problem I'm having but it seems I'm the exception and not the rule.
