As they mention in the video, one would still need to check local ordinances, and bury the pods deeply enough so that wild animals don't dig them up - but otherwise this is a great idea. Love the fish pods!

I think its weird to put my pet in a casket that will eventually break down and return to the soil. We don't put people in biodegradable caskets so why would we put pets in them.

I think basically because most people will use a cardboard box, a blanket or even a bag, this alternative is for those who want to feel their pet, who was part of their family, has a protected container that will also allow for natural composition without harming the earth. People are typically embalmed. That's the difference. The chemicals from that process going back into the earth would not be a good thing. Pets are not embalmed. So it's like a choice to allow nature to take its course, while mentally feeling okay that the pet is not being preyed upon by ground organisms. Serves a few purposes I think, for different people's views and beliefs about how they want to say goodbye to a pet. For many, it's a family member and a cardbox just won't do.

Actually, natural burial has become a very popular alternative to modern funeral customs, and biodegradable coffins, caskets, or shrouds are readily available if desired.

The Caskets for people are placed inside of a vault in the ground therefore the remains never really return to the earth. Pets however it they can but in a biodegradable type container, beats a plastic bag, I am all for it! Mister Dannie

The Bible says...We are dust and to dust we shall return.....I dont think its weird... but I rejoice The Bible says: The Lord preserves both man and beasts....so there is hope to be with our pets again...Alleluia

Great idea. If my dog dies, I will bury it with a coffin and tree seedlings. A beautiful dog body will make a beautiful tree
