Prices are buggered the UK too mostly because they changed the antique firearm law last year so some guns you could own without a license you cant own now.. they say its to stop the guns getting into the hands of criminals but criminals never use these guns they are nearly always rocking Glock 17s they get from the Police and Army (theres gang members within the police and Army that steal them) or other handguns they've made themselves or illegally imported (handguns are harder to legally obtain in the UK than a .50 cal or AR-15)

That little snip about the Henry in 30-30, I felt that. Been looking for one in 357/38 for a long while, settled on a Rossi carbine. But have also placed a Henry X in 30-30 on layaway. I found a unicorn....

They are still out there. I probably looked like a gun nut postal worker the other day. I stopped in a pawn shop here in Ohio, Found a 7.35mm Carcano for 175.00, TWO yes TWO Browning A5's both belgain, one 1936 the other 1958, one 3" one 2 3/4" the 2 3/4" had a spare matching Mod. barrel for 1000.00 for the pair, and a Walther P1 with spare matching mag for 200.00. I bought them all. My credit card company was cheering me on!!!!

The coolest gun i ever got at a Pawn shop was a Springfield armory 1911 GI model that was heavily customized already, and had a unique hammer kit on it to where it can actually de-cock it, and when you press down on the thump safety the hammer pops back up ready to fire. I paid $510 for it.

Great video. Yeah I think you guys are about 3 years removed from the good $100 to $300 dollar deals. I was doing some research looking back and man! Deals were so plentiful back then. Used Glocks and M&Ps would regularly go for mid 200s easy. You could even find used Sig P320s and P226 for $330 and below. Crazy Value. Now we only have a few companies giving crazy deals and you have to strike while the iron is hot on them.

120$ for a break action shotgun is nothing to sneeze at. I'd count it just for the utilitarian factor. Between the wide range of ammo available for shotguns and the drop in adapters allowing for smaller cartridges to be fired, youve got a pretty solid survival gun. The fact he got one that folds nearly in half is a backpack bonus. All it needs is a sling, some paracord wrapping and storage in the stock for some small tools and you're good to go.

@@mikehoward8201 perfect, it's absolutely a solid contender for a survival or pack gun. I thought the stock might be hollow because it's synthetic but I know not all of them are. A lot of them, but not all of them.

Years ago but I found a Russian capture K98 for $125 and a M1898 from WWI also for $125. The M98 had the Imperial Eagles and matching barrel and receiver. Whoever owned it before had unfortunately redone the stock by sanding it down to the bare wood removing any markings on the stock. Basically I left it pretty much as I found it but thought about getting a replacement stock and looking for parts to match the numbers on the barrel and receiver. The K98 was typical Russian arsenal redo. However with a little brass solvent on the barrel removed the bluing inside the barrel the barrel appears new. I also found a sporterized Swiss 1896-11 which is a late 1896 Schmidt Ruben converted to M11 specs which are near K31 specs. While the action appeared clunky a bit when compared to a K31 I didn't notice that when cyling it with actual ammunition. But that rifle was way closer to $200.

Pawn shops are one of my favorite places to buy guns. Half the time the guys have no idea what they have. I've found a few gems for next to nothing.
