I feel like the robber could have killed him but was never going to if he could avoid it. idk maybe his stolen weapon jammed but he looked foucused on getting the gun and getting away. Reguardless he put himself in a good place to be shot when he opened that door. Shit situation though, hope nobody died.

@@DW133_ I agree with the separate channel thing, if nothing else to test myself and see if I'd make the right move. I used to watch the (made up) "Incredible Fights", or "Robberies Gone Bad" type videos for "recliner gun fight training" purposes. Then, about 6 months ago my wife discovered A.S.P. and now we're getting solid advice on tactics, situational awareness, timing (wait your turn 😉), and always keeping your tools 🔫 ON YOU! Nothing takes the place of shooting (at least) weekly, and paying for AT LEAST one day/weekend at a reputable training facility, where you can learn how to better train at home (country folks, 16 acres) for "man with a gun" fight scenarios that you pray will NEVER happen. You don't realize just how (woefully) unprepared most people really are, to deal with some crazy shit like this. Although my wife and I (and our teen daughter) have been lifelong gun owners, we were still unprepared and are (now to a lesser extent) still at a disadvantage if, God forbid, this should happen to us. We're disadvantaged because the aggressor ALWAYS has an advantage.... you're always the SECOND guy to draw a weapon. If you carry (or really, even if you don't), this channel teaches you ALLOT about surviving these situations. This channels' owner is a great guy, (with police or military background?), and I think he was the first to compile THOUSANDS of camera robbery and assault footage into one place, and then use them for a training tool. He has a heart for teaching and giving free life saving advice to thousands of ordinary folks. I'm old and don't post links (I'll ask my daughter how), but if you go to his website you'll see the video of his beginnings and hear some very thankful letters from people who "didn't die" because of his videos. At some point he reads one of them, and he just chokes up, very touching to see, and you can easily tell he's genuine. We subscribed a long time ago.

Three things right off the bat - 1) Remote door lock to lock front door from counter or other places in the store. Having to blindly approach the front door to lock it is dangerous after something like this. 2) Some kind of locking mechanism or shortened firing pin which is replaced after sale. 3) You want to hold a weapon? 2:27 ~ Hey! When a loaded magazine that a customer pulls out from his person goes into the gun, that's when the employee should have drawn his loaded handgun, pointed it towards the customer, and told him to drop the weapon! Pointing a hand or finger at a customer and saying "Don't do that," no; he's not causally waving an empty gun around and absent mindedly pointing the muzzle at others. He now has a loaded weapon. This is when you draw your pistol, point it at him, and tell him that if he chambers a round; he's going to get shot. I'm sorry, but this clerk screwed up royally at that point. Okay, you lose the sale. Better than losing your life. Okay, the police will need to be called. Better than ending up deceased.

Satanic Warmaster You can shoot a person ANY TIME you want to, okay? Now, here’s the thing you need to deal with when you fire your weapon and it results in you seriously injuring or killing someone-was the shooting justifiable?! If you own and/or carry a firearm, and you use it, you have to be able to clearly and succinctly state (and convince the legal system, i.e. law enforcement officers and the district attorney) that you were in great fear for your life (or the life of another), and/or serious bodily injury. And, if you’re not believed, you will most certainly be criminally charged with homicide. So, yeah, shoot whenever you want, but if you don’t have good reason to believe that your life was about to end, your freedom will end! Before ANYONE purchases a firearm, they damn well oughta know all of the laws governing all firearms! Ignorance of the law is NOT a viable defense!! @snowmonkey48636 жыл бұрын
WhiteCavendish That's actually not true. Most retail stores I've ever seen and worked at have keyed locks on both sides. I think the idea is you don't want bad guys to control access from inside. Also, you could break a small piece of the glass and unlock from the outside more easily. A double-sided lock requires you to bust out a much louder and more noticeable size of glass.

You literally would never think someone would just randomly put a full clip in that's crazy.

Unfortunately, the clerk is an elderly gentleman with clear movement limitations... I am glad he made it out to safety (and lucked out on those front shots - were them into his position, he would be gone).

I'm surprised you didn't mention the customer on the left of the screen who peeked around the corner of the shelving unit. He then boogied out of the store and got in his car. We don't see him leave but from the outside view we later see that he is gone. He is probably the one who called the cops. He was the smartest one in the whole video. He covered his ASP.
