Came across some PXG 3011 gen1 irons for $150 and got them for $100. Felt like the biggest steal of my life. Thought of you guys when I went to pay and figured I should try asking if they’ll take $100 and it worked haha. Thank you for ‘saving’ me money haha.

Ashley and John, I have followed your videos since 5k subscribers and you both have taken me through the Covid shut down days. Recently I was urged by work to visit the west coast of United States and upon returning to Taiwan decided to visit Play it again Sports near Pasadena and found a whole set of Nike SQ irons from S to 4 for $179.- the SQ drivers, 3w, and 5W, each for about $55to $99. It was a great find but the thrill is the treasure hunting sensation in person than watching you both dot it! Always inspired by your videos.

I am amazed at the quality of clubs you all find! I am in thrift stores everyday as I resell books, as a former club professional I will typically peruse the golf clubs and I RARELY come across pro-line clubs. Occaisionally I will see a ping wedge that I will pick up but it happens so rarely that it is not productive use of my time. Keep up the good work, I enjoy your videos!

That “manager person” was probably the head buyer/owner and has a guilty conscience about having the local police confiscating recent purchases. Clubs still in wrapper is a red flag to me! Who buys high dollar Mizuno blades clubs, keeps them in the plastic and for 10 years and then pawns or sells them to a pawn shop. Then freaks out?

Set of Nike’s still in the wrapper, GOLD. I also have a Mizuno hybrid that I keep in the bag. The weight of that thing just lets me swing easy and let the club do the work.

You should say that you go to various pawn shops on the day and do not always buy right away and sometimes came back again either when you do not find anything else or might have to go and get more money, so the filming helps you remember what you saw where when you watch it back again.

That Sumo driver is quiet compared to the Callaway FT-i driver I had. You should find one. Call it the "box of rocks" driver challenge. One my first round with it a course ranger told me to stop using it stating it was broken and a hazard.

Caught the 'thrifting bug' and scored some TaylorMade r7 irons (SW-5) $6 per club, couldn't pass them up. Also for $65 a Cleveland stand bag that had a Adams TightLies 5w, aPing G15 3w & a Callaway X460 driver !!! Head covers? Yep, lol. All the grips & shafts are in good shape

I still have my Nike SQ. Sound never bothered me. One thing for sure about that driver. It wasn't the longest but it was a fairway finder. I probably wouldn't have given that pawn shop my money just on principle unless the deal was just too good to be true Either way...keep the videos coming love the constant uploads. You guys are going to be at 100K soon. Wouldn't be surprised if you don't make it by the end of the year

Have you hit a Nickent 3DX square head driver? I have had one for years with 12 degree loft and I keep going back and forth between it and my Cobra Biocell. The Nickent is long and straight, but it makes the most gosh-awful noise when you hit it. Everybody turns around to see what just happened. If you don't have one and find it, buy it.
