@Just some Guy Exactly... they franchised all over the place :-) I remember when it first started in '71 and was just named "Magic Mountain". My Dad (RIP) used to be a radio announcer in Los Angeles and he got a set of Magic Mountain promotional/private-preview tickets and we went to see Magic Mountain a little while before it first opened to the public. Only a few rides were actually operating when my Dad took us to visit as things there were still being tested and finalized and being readied for opening day, but it was still fun though. :-)

Everyone always says that they lowball everyone on everything that's brought into the shop. You're NEVER going to get the best offer at a pawn shop. The basic business model is you need cash NOW. They make an offer based on that fact and how long will it be before they sell the item (s). That's just how the business works. Your best bet is to sell to a private buyer. So how bad do you need the money?
