Wait..there are five props he wants 725k for. The best of the bunch he wants 100k for?. So the other four average out at 125k each...isn't that more ? Shouldn't the gobstopper be like 300 or 400k out of the total?
@MsVipGirls6 жыл бұрын
Ya i was thinking about that too
@marcsenecal58356 жыл бұрын
Ok let's figure this out.. 1 hat 1 egg 1 golden ticket 5 wonka bars 1 gobstopper He adds a wonka bar on his deal for 15k...that's 75k for 5 bars.... Plus 100k for the gobstopper is 175,000 That means the other three average out at over 150k each The math makes no sense, see? P.s. You can see the corner of the gobstopper cube when Rick inspects the ticket...before the gobstopper is even introduced
@tomatofarmerlarry33316 жыл бұрын
Marc Senecal wonka bars are more then 5 k each he just gave him one because he wanted the 100k deal and its a whole collection that makes them more expensive together
@jimboramba5 жыл бұрын
Maybe this whole segment was fake and he gave it back. The math not adding up could be explained as an oversight....either that or the guy selling is just kinda dumb. I noticed too how the math didn't add up.

Echocookie evil rick
@lDanielHolm7 жыл бұрын
I don't really think it is that scripted, to be honest. The difference with this and other reality shows... this is an actual pawn shop. Rick's just geeking out over the Wonka stuff.
@andyp81837 жыл бұрын
Well I didn't know you disagreed. That changes everything. You're entitled to your opinion, but I can assure you with 100% certainty that every segment on Pawn Stars is written, edited, shot with multiple takes, and in a nutshell, completely fake. Take an item in there to sell and see if Rick or Corey comes up to the counter......you won't see them anywhere. The way they haggle and make deals just does not happen that way in real life. The only people that would believe that this show is real are people that have never been to a pawn shop or never bought/sold second-hand items.
@lDanielHolm7 жыл бұрын
Oh really, you are 100% certain? That changes everything. Yes, the encounters are "scripted" in that they are planned to be shot for the show, but that doesn't mean the deals aren't real. No, you're not going to see Rick or Corey unless you just happen to bring something interesting on a day they're shooting and they want to include it in the show, and you agree to be included. That's just the nature of TV. But claiming it is scripted to the point that it "in no way reflects reality" is nonsense. The extent to which they are scripted is as far as is needed to make the show. Anything more would be risky, as it could undermine the popularity of the show -- if people think it's fake, they're not going to watch.
