Scripted, negotiated beforehand, we barely learn about the items, the owners are obnoxious, with Corey being always grumpy and miserable, Chum was all an act for years... and the "experts" get hired by the producers and are not friends or "buddies"as they keep insisting. This barely passes as informative, it's just entertaintment.
