Very rare INDONESIAN heritage material. And as we know, that the material is not for trading or other economic purposes but it is a symbol of the glory of a nation or the noble value of local wisdom. many of us believe that by selling you will be cursed. I have a collection with around 100 Indonesian keris. I often sell some of them and buy some new ones at an auction, but I never experienced bad luck by selling them. I have some keris that give you goosebumps when you take them out of the warangka, but never had bad luck.

It's just a folktales of course! in making of keris the keris maker (called Empu) was not for economic purposes but at the request of the king at the time to describe an event or as an inscription for a particular event. it's like an airplane blackbox that records certain events. Many people here can talk to it and the keris tells what happened at that time. Thank you for keep it for us :D

Well you know, most of the keris can stand on its own. Because if the 'empu keris' (the maker) skill is good enough, they can balance the keris and made it stand. But, you need to hold it with the sarung keris to make it stand. If the keris can stand without being hold with the sarung, it may have something else inside it.

It's the opposite, it was believe to bring you (and your family) protection from bad luck. The correct word would be "Tombak" literally mean "Spear" with kriss spearhead, we called this "keris tombak" (spear kriss). Old kriss usually made from meteorite, so it was thought as a gift from heaven (falling from the sky).

In my country, there's lot of Kris and is pretty much low price. Not because it got low quality, it's because people scared when having it. Lot of them rumored cursed the owner rather than give a fortune. So that's why 2000 bucks is really worth it, or maybe because it mystical it value got higher there.
