The Gone in Sixty Seconds car was a GT500, not a GT350. Of course that was a prop made car too. The thing that makes the GT350 so famous is its racing pedigree. Gone in Sixty Seconds didn't do anything for the 350 despite the similar bloodline.

It's literally the same car. Only difference between the 350 & 500 is the supercharger. Other than that everything is the exact same. Now a days they make the 500 with a slightly wider body but again everything is exactly alike except for the supercharged engine!! So it's fair to say Cage made it repopular. Also Ford doesn't make 350's & 500's in the same year. They do one per year. So 2010 they make 350s then 2011 they'll make 500s. Just adding that info

@constantinvaldor14982 жыл бұрын
When selling an item you really only have 3 chooses. 1: A private buyer. 2: At Auction. 3: A Pawnshop. The first is very hard to find and takes a lot of time. Number two there's not guarantee as to it'll sale for and you'll be waiting 3-4 months from the first time you meet with the auction house and they'll take at least 20% of the sale price. And number 3 is where you go when you need to sale something today. They are middle men and most pay 60% of the value of the item. As Rick has said many times. "He's the one taking the risk at action" We get it. School failed you and economics isn't your thing!

My first car was a 61' Monza back in late 60's. 2dr with 3 on the floor. Automatic's were a 2 spd. Very slushy & slow. Front end was sloppy like this one, but I rebuilt it; made it a lot tighter. Heater was an exchanger from the heat off the manifold Any pin holes or tears and you'd smell exhaust. The one shown has been converted to an alternator, originals had generators. I put headers and 'cherry bombs' as well. If it was loud, it was faster, right? Nader did them in though. They were prone to broken fan belts and catching on fire. Most owners kept a spare belt under the seat. Two of us ran 90k miles with one under the seat & never had any mechanical issues. Gas mileage? who cares, gas was 25 cents a gal. I had $200 into it and sold it a few years later for $125. I was happy.

@Train 2noplace probably needs to pay rent tonight, all these people are desperate, unemployed, maybe they have loansharks after them or they owe money to their drug dealers or need to bail out their daughters from prison. No one in a steady situation would bring anything to a pawn shop.

ANYBODY who knows who Steve McQueen was and his legacy will agree that Bullitt was one of his all-time best movies as far as car chases go. That 67 Highland Green Mustang that he drove against that Dodge Charger is THE BEST chase sequence I've ever seen. Actually, it's been voted Best Car Chase Sequence many times. Steve McQueen was an absolute legend and it's up to us who have heard of him and have seen his many movies to keep his memory alive. I'm only 38, but I am a diehard car guy and I have always appreciated Steve McQueen.
