The batter really looks good. Brent had one of David's favorites, fried oysters. We have never heard of baked oysters. We either fry or steam them at home. We have never tried Pawpaw's Catfish Kitchen. Thanks for taking us with you to Pawpaw's. Great video as always!

@vafunseekers, their batter was light, crispy, and seasoned perfectly. I bet y’all fix some tasty oyster recipes. Brent loves the baked oysters at one of our favorite restaurants in Pensacola, Florida, called Peg Leg Pete’s. They are served with a variety of toppings. The only way that I like them is at Acme Oyster House where they serve them chargrilled with fresh garlic, butter, Parmesan, and French bread. We think y’all will like Pawpaw’s Catfish Kitchen. So delicious, and that homemade remoulade sauce was great too. Thank y’all so much for watching, and we hope that y’all have a great weekend!

I love all fish and I've always steered away from catfish because I don't care for a lot of cornbread batter but to be honest, I would get the platter here and try it all. It looked spectacularly done! Did you say y'all had the alligator there before? I want to try that too lol

My husband is from Louisiana so he got to talking to the owner and she said her husband goes back to Louisiana regularly to get his catfish. I’ve also had the roast beef po boy and muffuletta & theyre authentic. I especially liked the crab cakes, husband loves the etouffee sauce All things we’ve eaten in La. Delicious!

You should find a place called Uncle Bud's all you can eat fried chicken and catfish. It's somewhere here in Tennessee. I can't remember where but i ate there and it was outstanding food.

Genterie, you go to a Cajun Seafood Restaurants and order a hamburger. That fine here in deep, deep South Louisiana our kids who are pure Cajun do the exactly same thing but they order hamburgers because their tired of eating seafood 5-days a week.

@OAK, Gentry does enjoy some seafood and he sampled our catfish, but he was just in the mood for a hamburger that day. I bet the seafood in Louisiana is amazing. We have been to one of the Acme Oyster House locations in Florida, and those chargrilled oysters with the fresh garlic and butter are so tasty.
