@Eltarii The chat moderation is a little out of hand lol... no one can type my name in game . My in game name is Woop ... the game wont allow you to type Woop...... I can make the character name but no one can type it in chat lol

Here's the problem: If Mainframe doesn't even have the financial and human resources to develop its own chat, what are the chances of being able to produce a real MMO combat system including animations on its own? As I suggested a year ago: Mainframe needs a partner, a larger studio, to be able to make Pax Dei a success story.

@@drachenstein Why would they need to if they received this partnership from Discord? I think you are looking at it like this was something unplanned and hasn't been in the works for years now and they just flicked a switch turning this on over night. I believe this partnership was a part of their strategic plan in developing the game from its onset. This would NOT indicate they don't have the people or the money to do it on their own. They knew they were integrating with Discord so they could focus elsewhere. Discord is quite literally a large studio in this case. They partnered with them and got a lot of social features integrated within their platform. The original pitch for the game was one that was accessible by anyone from anywhere and this is one step in that direction!

@@eltarii What I mean with the partner is in relation to the combat system, I have only mentioned the lack of a self-produced chat system as an indicator of Mainframe's lack of personnel and financial resources.

Imagine how bad devs they are to not add own chat platform but discord its a shame what they done. It's ridiculously pathetic. Next time they gonna borrow fking fishing from Archeage ? Or mounts from Black Desert ? What is this a joke ?

@@shivo4328 fun fact Microsoft Flight Sim 24 borrowed the animal assets from Planet Zoo! If they can outsource chat and focus more on things you want worked on like combat while still having a lot of innovative features with chat isnt that a win win?
