Michael, it's probably a result of your arm blocking the airflow through the water cooler. 🙂

you also could log the cpu temp and fan speed and plot a graph. That could improve your productivity

Michael, you built my XForcePC back in 2019, still running great and I appreciate your attention to detail when building a PC. I'm still running XPlane11, but my machine has 16GB ram and an Nvidia GTX1060 with 6GB of VRAM. What would you recommend upgrading to run Xplane12 and MSFS? The processor is an i7 8086K.

"Pay attention during stress testing" Huh, we always used to just look at the complete test results after, which showed any unusual shifts that occured while testing for 3 days. your saying: "Stay staring at the screen for 3 days!" uh huh. sure thing bud.
