We decided to use this for our "Christmas" video.
A nice young man is buying an acoustic guitar. He's been looking for this one in particular for some time, and he is simply GLOWING with a combination of excitement and love. He believes the universe is a perfect place, right up until it comes to light that he's twenty dollars short. No worries, he's still going to get the guitar, just not right now. It's a bit sad to watch the wind go out of his sails... Suddenly, a kind woman, a complete stranger, emerges from the back to set the universe back to rights.
Thank you, Judy. Now not all of our videos are about people screaming, and you have made some people remember that this planet isn't a bad place to hang out.
Merry Christmas, everyone.

wow I lived on the streets of Nashville and I was a street performer, and my survival tool was my guitar. and one day my guitar broke and I couldn't afford to fix it, but the lady that owns vintage guitars on S. 8th avenue said here let my tech look at it, and she could tell I was homeless, then about 20 minutes later she brought it back to me and it was fixed!!! and she said to me, its on me at no charge!!! when I walked out that door I had tears in my eyes!! and from that day I sent every musician I knew that need anything to them!!! VINTAGE MUSIC. S.8TH AVENUE NASHVILLE TENNESSEE! and ty for this awesome video..... 😎

If anyone deserved it, it was this kid. He was one of the most polite, humble, and happy guys I have ever seen. He was genuinely appreciative of what she did and even before that, when he wasn't sure what he was going to do, he stayed calm and so nice. The lady was simply amazing with her generosity and willingness to help someone when they needed it. It was so refreshing to see that human kindness does exist and that it was given to someone that deserves it. One of the best videos I have watched in quite a while.

Save hard for what you really want in life and be nice and kind so if you’re ever short on cash, a stranger will help you out 👍 And I think this kid is now more likely to go do something nice when he sees someone in need (like when he gets the money his friends owe him 😉)

21 dollars adds up real quickly when you have more people in that store than just that boy and the man behind him. You give a deal to one most get it and are happy for the person getting it. Then you have others that don't understand the cost of running a business. I didn't until I worked for myself doing etching on glass. The day I stopped was the day someone offered me 88 cents for a custome shot glass.

That guy is absolutely adorable. It's hard to watch business people claw at cash, but it's their business and I guess that was a hard make and model to find. What annoyed me was the way they completely ignored him as he spoke and gushed about the guitar. The transaction was pure business; however, their general attitude were pure shit. I'm glad he got his guitar. I would have loved to here him play when he got home. Overall, he, his cheer and his friendliness were stars in this video.

Pawn shops are what they are , a business that at the end of the day is in it for the business. Reading the comments it appears they gave him a price break already so the focus should be on the good deed here. Keep it classy folks !

+D X that was the lowest price around that the kid was going to find on that guitar. jesusfuckingchrist you people are idiots. You see 7 minutes of video and think you have the whole thing figured out. We often give deals on any prices we already have marked. if you come in and make us an offer, that's one thing...but if you come in and expect it to be lower and then talk shit the whole time, we don't play nicely. We often give instruments to shelters, mental health facilities, hospitals, etc., because its an easy thing to do. We often fix small repairs for free if you aren't a monster in the shop. We often put up with a shitload of flack because you see 7 mins of any given day in our shop, when in actuality, the hours that pass by daily tend to bring us all shapes and colors of people. From the huge assholes all the way to the sweetest Nanas. The least we can do.....is give you this answer at all.

No offense Mike but after reading the comment from DigitalKiwi14 (which was a little disturbing) then i read yours....i understand you looking out for your business and i'm sure that you would have helped if you could have BUT to reply using language like that is disgusting, i'm sure your better than that!!

Where are the stores you shop at that will let you walk out with an item when you're $20 short?? I need to start shopping there. Hurry because they won't last long. They'll be out of business in no time

considering they probably payed 100 bucks tops for that guitar and case and sold it for 220 they couldve lost out the 20bucks on the deal! they made money regardless its a pawnshop they in it to win not break even

Alberto Valdes: & Shamrockrancher: My thoughts exactly! Plus, the transaction sounded shady to me. That young man came back with the right amount of money (he even said he remembers writing down the amount to take off his card, and he said he had exactly $50.00 for the rest), (or else he wouldn't have went back to get the guitar) then out of nowhere the cashier tacked on another $20.00 and he quickly brought the other clerk in on it to "verify" the price increase. Notice @ 3:34 when the other clerk checks the price, he didn't verify the actual price to the young man, he just simply closes up the case and says nothing. I do hope the young man thinks about the transaction, and other people inform him that the shop took advantage of him and to not return for future business. I understand every business needs to make money, but come on $20.00 here and there to deserving customers like the young man, is not gonna drive the shop into bankruptcy. Sad move on the pawn shops part. KARMA

I guess to some it would seem that way...since we live in a world where sometimes the bad outweighs the good. But I assure you Judie didn't even know that she was on camera that day or that this video existed until yesterday (April 6, 2019) when someone tagged her in it on Facebook. Sure there is plenty of fake stuff out there, but this is real.

We need more Judy's in this world. You could see Owen's joy very clearly and I believe that's exactly how Judy felt as well - overjoyed at being able to "make someone's day". Giving feels every bit as good as receiving.

Giving is all ways very awarding, and for that 20 dollars i bet she will have a spring in her step for a few days, but buying something for 20 dollars for herself would be forgotten in a few minutes. People that give are all ways happy people, i have seen this over the years so often !!
