The Boys in Blue DLC is out today on PC, Xbox Series X | S, and PlayStation 5!
The Boys in Blue heist tasks the gang with breaking into a secure holding facility of the NYPD on Vlad’s behalf. He wants his gold back, and the gang has never let him down before.
Releasing alongside the DLC, the Boys in Blue free update will be available for all players, and includes:

As for original characters: Chains's real name might be Nicolas, Clover's name is Rochelle, I think Sydney has a canon first and last name but I don't remember what it is, and Jiro just uses his real name.

Making it so you have to be friends with the person that owns the heist is what Back 4 Blood did. It's crazy how nobody learned. In Payday 2 there was a self-fufilling cycle of people playing the heist in a random lobby, not being able to find the heist again so they buy it themselves, people join their lobby to play the heist, those people go on to buy it themselves. Also that Gold Pass is a scam. No price decrease if you already have Silver, costs more than the Gold Edition right now at -50%, literally zero reason to buy it.
