There is a garage with 4 vans in it that you can't see not only becouse it's outside but also becouse it's turned away from where you would be able to see it and the sheer size of OOB area

Cool fact Before Silkroad became a thing, Overkill was starting to work on PAYDAY 3 days before Border Crossing release. So that meaning that Overkill was gambling with PAYDAY's state with a big bet.

I think my main gripe with Buluc's mansion is that buluc's office isn't exactly well-guarded - you could just climb a ladder up to his balcony, a ladder thats literally _already on the map._ Yup, there's a ladder in the cellar, but you can't use it to climb to the office, no that would skip too many pointless objectives!

The buluc's mansion inner sactum door isn't rng, its determined by which of the two doors are approached first after you go to buluc's mayan door. Just never go near the statue til hack is active and you are good.

I think weapon packs should bring in fun guns instead of meta defining shit, because we already have a ton of options. For instance there was a pistol that could push bodies which I thought was pretty cool. The best one was probably the little friend that had a side grenade launcher.

9:20 the first major objectives are actually not rng surprisingly, but based on which entry point a player is closest to once Locke starts looking for ways into the inner sanctum. If you find the door with a keycard slot first, Locke will tell you to do the hack. If you find the statue in the little alcove, Locke makes you assemble the bomb from parts found around the mansion. It's still pretty dumb, but there is a way to force the objective you want.

i’d like to imagine border crossing having a non bag objective, like some of the escape maps but better, where you have a few more objectives to repair the plane, instead of getting ingredients/bags.

San martin just has random fully rendered objects way out of sight like under the map or out of bounds so they can start by removing those for optimization

hey mom it's me on border crossing on 5:17 the reason it's shit optimized is because there is map waaaaay outside your actual view, streets, cars, buildings, etc., no portals/occluders(Celer mod adds them), and also they left a bunch of floating assets in the ground when making the map that are completely unnecessary, which I believe uncle showed in his Bugs and Glitches and OOB spots pt.2 video. the c4 on buluc isn't rng decided. if you touch the statue where you bring the c4, it triggers that, otherwise it wants you to hack. (similar to the c4 on black cat)

I don't even care for Payday 2 having a cohesive story, character stories like Hoxton's breakout was amazing but in general I have loved this game for its gameplay and how it's a shooter-mechanics puzzle (think of Raids in the Destiny franchise) I will say though, I ended up investing 360 hours of nolifing, I woke up, went to school and played PD2 solo and after such time the game felt monotonous That was probably burn out but I don't know how I feel about post WH content, it really does feel extra repetitive and less immersive

Buluc's Mansion's default escape isn't that bad, you can blow up the turret with a car you can place gasoline on

Except it's also right next to the enemy spawnpoint, so you're always going to have enemies at every turn. I've done it myself, and I can confirm the spawns on the default escape are insane, and you're saving a lot of time by selecting the helicopter escape.

A lot of hud mods have options to display enemy health. I like using vanilla hud+ as it's a better optimized wolf hud.

Balance implies that there is an ideal anyway which for some weapons can't be the case , for the money launcher what would be too much damage for it to do what would be too much cash per shot .
