No problem, it’s definitely all opinion but once I bought the CNC we have never looked back. It’s been amazing.

For major machinery that is more than $100k and even if you have the cash on hand I'd still consider leasing. Or at least having a credit line in an equal amount available to you. This economy can turn on a dime, and it's much harder to borrow when you need the money than when you don't need it. But it's all relevant to your cash reserves. If you have a million in the bank, $100k isn't a huge percentage. If you only have $200k, then draining that down by 50% to pay cash may be too aggressive. But being able to just write a check and not have to jump through hoops with the finance companies is a wonderful position to be in! If you've used up all your section 179 write-offs and accelerated depreciations then leasing probably has better tax advantages as well.

Hey man great video! Been watching you for a while. I wish you would upload more but understand it must be hard trying to run a business and make content. Me and my business partner have just bought a cnc and are going to be bringing all the cutting of our cabinets in house which is exciting😅 most of our stuff is fully bespoke so not repeatable. I was just wondering do you make your parts in for example; cabinet sense and then go straight to the cnc to be cut. We’re trying to cut computer time and slimline production and be as efficient as possible. Keep up the great videos they are really helpful and informative. All the best from the UK Cameron

That’s awesome, congratulations. That was a big step for us as well but totally worth it. We do a lot of parts that are the same but there is a ton that are different for every job. We use CabinetVision and it is amazing how much we can customize things and make templates to make our programming faster. Good luck.
