Hi Thelma. No, you don't need to do any conversions. It uses the current exchange rate whether you are swiping or withdrawing cash. I've found it cheaper to swipe than withdraw cash though.

Sorry, don't know I missed this. It's been a whole year lol. If you want cash, you'd need to move it to your bank first if you don't have the card. And yes, you can use it to make any online payments.

Hi. I've never purchased anything from Walmart using Payoneer but I would be surprised if didn't work. Vendors on the Walmart marketplace actually use Payoneer as an option to receive their payments - just like Fiverr and other marketplaces give Payoneer as an option to withdraw your earnings. Remember Payoneer is a global platform created for online payments.

Payoneer is meant to send and receive money for business transactions. If the money you are receiving is for a service you provided, yes it can be sent by an individual and not necessarily a company. What they are sensitive about is receiving money from friends and family which is not related to work.

The government restrictions won't affect you as long as you don't withdraw your money from your Payoneer account into your local bank account. Keep it in your Payoneer card/account and perform all your transactions from there.

Hi Danial, yes you can. I am not aware of any limits and no, unless something changed quite recently - you don't have to email them.

Hi, no. I haven't experienced this. If you don't follow their standard regulations, like any other platform they will block your account. This is to prevent people from using Payoneer to participate in scams or fraudulent activities. You need to have a specific balance in your account to qualify to get the card. Not sure what the new balance requirement is for 2022. You can check for that on their website. If you link Payoneer to your bank, you will be able to make transfers between the two.

It would be best to first confirm if they are able to open a payoneer account in their respective countries. If they can, each time you need to pay them, they can create a request for payment link which they send to you. You can also contact Payoneer customer support to get more info on this.

Hey, yes...you do need to have a local bank account in order to be able to sign up for Payoneer BUT the work around to this is that you need to register for Payoneer through any company or marketplace such as Fiverr, UpWork, etc. Once you do this, you can access and use your Payoneer account without a local bank account.

No customer service with Payoneer. You send a ticket right ? It’s marked solved without anything being solved. And the only two other ways to contact them is by phone or chat. But you can’t do any of those things unless you can login which in most cases is the main reason someone would want to contact them at all. It’s like you can only contact us if you don’t have any problems.

If you transact using the card in SA or withdraw funds to your local bank, the reserve bank gets informed so SARS may pick it up if the amounts reach a certain threshold. With small amounts, no worries

Hey Rufaro, if Payoneer approves my account without asking for further documents would that be weird? I linked my Steward Bank Visa account to the Payoneer account and it didn't raise any flags. How do I know if it's really really approved? For those on Zim, I opened a Steward bank Visa account for $10. I do not know how I am going to go around the withdrawal issue and accepting payments properly from freelancing gigs but I will give it a try. Hopefully I will manage. It might allow me to transfer funds from Payoneer into my steward bank Visa account but I am not sure yet

Hi Eunice, I haven't used Steward Bank so I can't anticipate any problems you might face but yes, it's normal for your bank to be linked without being asked a lot of questions. It usually takes up to 3 business days for them to review and send an email that confirms that your bank account has been approved. If you login into your account - Settings and then - Banks & cards, you'll also be able to see if your bank was successfully connected or not.

Hey Tapiwa... I did manage to link the accounts. But now I'm not sure if Steward bank is reliable. Myb sister sent me money from Kenya via bank transfer and the money refused to reflect. She had to request for the transfer to be reversed and ended up sending via western union

I actually don't have a Steward bank account. I want to open an account and trying to find which bank in Zim supports Payoneer withdrawals. I phoned Stanbic a few days ago and they said they do not support Payoneer.
