Typing in your exact equation @7:58 on my TI-36X Pro and I get a Syntax Error. I am on the degree setting already. What is the solution to this so I get the same decimal you do?

I solved it. You need to use the negative key " (-) " and NOT the subtraction key for N (in this case -15).

What if it says withdraw the money from your account each year for 20 yrs after you retire but then says you expect to retire in 30 years? Does that make N=50?

If they don't give the number of compounding periods, then we assume it is the same as how often a payment is received.
