I remember my wife needed to pay for her bar prep and it was COVID, I was low on cash but affirm approved her for a 12 month loan with no interest and a $400 down payment. Actually a great way to purchase things. I've been using them for years. You pick the payment schedule and see the actual amount you will pay in total and your minimum payment every month actually lowers the total amount you owe. Not just paying for interest like credit cards or PayPal

I like buy now pay later. But The only problem with this is, if you want something its decided on case by case basis. You might not get it. With a credit card you know your card limit and can use it every where and in person for everything even dinner at a restaurant
