An argument against live shows - I think its actually better that you guys cover things after they happen because you can do a deeper dive and provide us with more info! Rather than scrambling in the moment trying to make a coherent show about something happening now-ish. For ex. I still consider this story super current but you guys provided a lot more background to the story than I had previously known and I appreciate that. Anyways you guys are doing great

I like the idea of you guys going live when big news breaks, a la election time, but I don't like the idea of it being a fully permanent live show that is exclusively live. I really enjoyed the live shows you did! But the sound is never as good, the chat can add to the show but can also detract if it gets too obtrusive, and you'll have more chances to say something that gets you cancelled. 😅 Can we do both?? Structured, educational recordings, sometimes with guests, and live shows when big news hits. That's my two cents!

It might be copium, but it feels like something is genuinely changing. The fact that a guy from a wealthy background can take a revolutionary act like this and everyone, regardless of what side of the political spectrum they fall on, can celebrate it as an act of class solidarity. Legacy media like the NYT may be writing op-ed's like "actually it's bad to shoot CEO's", but regular people and independent media like my sweet summer boi's, Ben and Emil, reflect the real feeling on the ground that yeah the system is fucked up and we need to do something about it. When I was 9 my mom had an extremely rare and dangerous cancer. Luckily she survived but at the time we didn't know if she'd make it. My dad had been making six figs for a while and we had excellent insurance. But our insurance almost didn't cover it. My mom's medical bill for a single surgery totaled $1.2 million I think. At least that. My parents were prepared to sell our house and take out loans just so my mom had a chance at living and to avoid bankruptcy - even though our family was immensely privileged.

And better yet, a few years ago my dad had a stroke and a couple months later my mom was diagnosed with cancer for a third time. Insurance has covered a lot, but unfortunately they will not pay for my dad's therapy anymore. He has severe aphasia.

She turns 23 in May and has been struggling to finish school. We're hoping she can graduate in time so she can get a good job and thus good insurance. We'll see. It's just sad how the healthcare system works.

as a Canadian, in a system where NO healthcare claim is denied, pre existing conditions are not a thing that our socialized healthcare gives a fuck about, I think the US system and the people supportive of it are OUT OF THEIR MINDS. A system where no claim is denied is VERY possible. Hundreds of countries use social healthcare SUCCESSFULLY. I just finished Cancer treatment and was billed exactly 0 times. I will stay in the cancer treatment system for 5-10 years and see my oncologist every few months and will continue not to be billed for it. ALSO the concept of insurance is as COMMUNIST as it gets. Everyone pools their money into one communal pile, no one will need it all at once, therefore it's a general safety net when or if you need it. It's communal money. But for whatever reason, the US is happy to let private companies be in charge of THEIR hard earned communal money that has been pooled together. And you can't vote about private companies. But up here, if shit is going sideways with our healthcare, because the system in charge of it is also beholden to an entire country's worth of people who vote every 4 years, we don't get denied care. I'm not familiar with rates down there, but hearing Emil say he gets ONE doctors vist per YEAR for $365/month is WILD. Paying close to 5 grand a year to see your doctor once. I'm so curious to know what the income tax is for someone making 100K a year, then add their yearly health insurance to it. I bet that total is the same amount we get taxed up here.

Publish your video at a certain time 12pm CST lets say -- after the video is done do like a 20 min live segment to add more color promote the next video or talk about any new news updates. It would encourage video completion and time on platform. Folks would look forward to it more and make a greater perk for the video folks.
