Michael Moore’s documentary SICKO opened my eyes to our broken healthcare system years ago. I see why he’s a fan. He literally showed everyone how our government is playing us in that film.

Luigi's parents have money, not Luigi. People are saying Luigi could afford Healthcare; therefore, he should not be the face of this issue. Luigi's PARENTS has money. Not Luigi. They didn't report him missing for 3 months. They are not visiting him or paying for his defense. They are not supporting him publicly. They seem more concerned about the CEO than Luigi. I love how some are saying that if you live off of your social security you have Medicare and therefore little problem fulfilling your healthcare needs. Please do your homework. ​I am living off of my Social Security only and have Medicare. My 4th tier copay for an injectable drug for which there is no generic is over $400. And that’s not my only medication, but without Medicare that drug would be between $15k-18k per year. I was forced to move in with my ex-husband, who also lives only in his social security. If I wanted to live with him, we’d still be married. My living quarters were in the living room of his 570 sq. ft. condo which has only one bathroom. Medicare is also broken because these insurers make more money off of Medicare recipients than any other source. Check it out. Rick Scott can probably furnish you with information about how this is possible.

I don't think our health care and or insurance industry is that bad. Are there ways that we can improve it? Yes. But on the whole, I haven't heard too many people complain. I think they're exaggerating a little bit.

Luigi is not a hero. Murder brings us down to the level of those, yes even those corporate CEO’s, who value money more than life. Something in this young man’s mind compelled him to speak for those with no voice. Unless you have walked in the shoes of the suffering, it may be difficult to understand. Imagine living only on a Social Security income of $1,000 a month and having a co-pay of $400 for a life saving drug, or being denied coverage for same procedures. I believe Luigi thought he was speaking for those who have no voice. He simply chose the wrong path.

@Buddy-tq4ly if you are living on social Security, you get Medicare. And those drug prices are usually scaled to your income. So I don't think people really have a good understanding of what our Health Care system is m
