@@matttrueman6663 Congrats Matt good choice. I just finished putting the panniers on and it's a pain in the arse job. I only videoed half of it as the instructions looked like they were designed by the same IKEA guy. Get Suzuki's to put them on.

Thanks for doing the review. I really like it in the black/gold and the value is incredible. Perhaps some adjustable handlebar risers may get it to fit you better.

Cheers. Will see with off road riding testing on dirt would give a better look at setup. :-)

Ive got a bad dealer ...he kept the book for the bike..then i had to go to another dealer to have my bike serviced...i guess he just wanted sales not servicing
@PissTakeProduction2 жыл бұрын
I'd email Suzuki and they would find a solution. I've dealt with Suzuki not the dealer and they have been pretty good.

Is it a common thing out there for dealers to keep the service hand book

Suzuki I have mine but with KTM is was online. But Suzuki did tell me the details are keep in their database and the service book is not as important as it used to be.

You should have one with SUZUKI

Oil filter only costs like $6 and weighs like 150 grams, I would rather carry an extra oil filter than buy a $300 1kg bash plate :o
@PissTakeProduction2 жыл бұрын
True. But after using the skid plate much much less road grime on the engine and I can cook a meat pie while riding.
@jkristjanvalk2 жыл бұрын
@@PissTakeProduction Yeah it's just overall funny how much people spend on oil filter, radiator and headlight protection. I've done half a million kilometers in car and another hundred thousand on a motorcycle in my life and never had any rock fly at me and damage anything. A full round of protection for a motorcycle is like $1000 and having owned 4 motorcycles, I would have spent $4000 on all the protectors. Only to maybe, but maybe not, avoid replacing a $300 radiator or headlight in a once-in-a-million-lifetimes event. But cleanliness and cooking, those are separate considerations I cannot say anything against.

@@jkristjanvalk I know what you are saying with those additions. My rad guard is off AliExpress cost $20. I dropped my VStrom the other day and SWMotech front bars did the job of protecting the bike. I have to say the VStrom is by far my favourite bike. The Katana I put on the smoke screen and a rock has done a micro crack so that did its job. It does suck some of the cost to make changes. I do changes on a budget. I don't see myself selling the VStrom for a very long time its a keeper. An all round great Bike.
