Thats why its considered more dangerous than basejumping, thats what my basejumping friend told me. U can not predict when something goes wrong, it can be your best day and suddenly you blackout, thats why u always need other people swimming with you. But its such an amazing sport, I always wonder though if the increases training of freediving, does it have any negative effects on the brain?

My recommendation is to pack more until the lungs extend the thoracic cavity and then keep packing until you reach 200 meters

What do u think the chances are of people suffering hypercapnic blackouts over hypoxic blackouts. How does a hypercapnic blackout even work as well physiologically like how does it cause the brain to not be able to sustain consciousness??

The chances if people are breathing atmosphere is slim to none. But a hypercapnic blackout is so dangerous and hard to revive.I'm actually not sure on the physiological process involved with a hypercapnic blackout- I should do some reading
