For the next 6 weeks I'm going to be training in Bali! I'm diving with Apnea Bali and using their training platform. The conditions are wonderful, the water is calm, training is going really well and it's a great place for freediving!
Erin's belly is growing bigger day by day. Besides training we're taking the time to explore Bali. To check out the waterfalls and sights. We come here quite often to dive but we rarely do anything else.
If you're keen to check out our online freediving school go to www.freedivingmanual.com
Erin's KZbin: / @freedivingfamily2394
Our facebook: / adamsternfreediver
Thanks Elaine Dipp from Apnea Bali for helping us out with the underwater footage! www.apneabali.com

OMG, the Boga wreck is so awesome. Me and my wife went to Bali last year (thank you for the videos by the way, the awesome pictures are the reason we went there) and we stayed in the resort right next to the wreck. It's been a wonderful time and we had a lot of fantastic dives. Greetings from Germany and all the best to the three of you.

Ouu you must be a character for sure haha. Just picked up freestyle swimming a couple of month ago and kinda stumbled over your channel. I like breath control, rhytmic breathing, too but never actually practiced holding my breath. It looks really fun and challenging in a special way. I gonna try to make that a thing to me i think. Thank your efforts, its fun watching you explain. Cheers!

Hi Adam, first of all, great videos! We recently did a dynamic session in our freediving club focused on finning technique. We filmed the session so we could see our flaws. I was wondering if you could make a video, or part of a video, focused on finning technique and how to improve it. Also, I would love to see a video about your pre-dive stretching routine! Thanks heaps and good luck with your training :D

Is anyone able to clarify for me why free divers can only do one (really) deep dive per day (so it sounds like)? Like if you don't reach your goal depth the first try then it seems you need to wait until tomorrow to attempt again instead of an hour or two later? I'm not a diver myself, so I don't know much at all. I'm just learning and dreaming of the day.
@AdamFreediver
@AdamFreediver 5 жыл бұрын
It's because the deep dives are so fatiguing that you can only attempt one a day and also you can get DCS from repetitive deep dives

Adam, quick question. In several of your videos, I've noticed the modified breaststroke you use when you are diving without fins. I've also noticed it in videos of other freedivers. What is the advantage of swimming like that? Does it use less energy than a traditional breaststroke? It looks like something you use almost without thinking, so I suspect it's a skill you've trained on in the past. I'd like to learn a little more about it. I started watching your videos to learn more about freediving, but I really enjoy watching your relationship with Erin. She is truly an amazing woman to put up with your antics! :) You two seem to be very well matched.
@AdamFreediver
@AdamFreediver 5 жыл бұрын
Thanks Bruce :) She is the best :) about the no fins, the adapted breast stroke technique captures more water for each pull and is more relaxed than the traditional technique. Also it propels a diver in the direction of their head, whereas the traditional technique moves them forward on the surface and gives the ability to pop up and breathe :)
