The uppercut at 0:58 is done to skip the keydoor animation, when you do an uppercut and the animation plays out entirely it skips the thumbs up animation. Just to clear that out!

that's the creator of the game's persona, who is only visible for a certain period of time in each level, if you're moving fast enough you can get a glimpse of him before he disappears. the secret doesn't do much of anything but it's fun to find him.
