In some of my comments in different videos related to PBS, I too have mentioned about this. One should hear the Sanskrit Slokas renderings of PBS. Also in high pitch too, his voice will sound like nectar. I had seen him twice and conversed with him during that time. The first opportunity of meeting him that I had was at a Post Office, where PBS was standing just adjacent to me and writing an Inland letter, purchased by himself across the counter, to my thrill and surprise ! There was a Bunch containing lot of Pens in his shirt pocket. Again at a Music Consort. Respectable PBS was such a simple and humble person to the core, despite being a famous and great singer. He was the Delight of Music Directors. Almost all of his songs were hits. He was also a Lyrics writer and knew many languages. On hearing a person's name he is coming across, just by using every spelling of the name, he could write a Poem instantly within a few minutes. I had seen one of the poems written by PBS in that fashion (shown to me by my friend). He was such a talented person ! His voice was most suitable for Hindi songs too. Being a Singer myself, if not professionally, I am glad to share my thoughts and experience with you, about PBS. Regards. V.GIRIPRASAD (69 Years)

I am a huge fan of P.B.S SIR . he has a unique voice which others try to imitate but hard to mimic I have followed and become addicted to his voice. Though aging has some what waned his voice, at his prime no one can come close to him He is the a real king of melody ot south indian languages Though he is a telugu person, his Thamil knowledge and love for tamil is unbelivable and amazing His memory will live through his songs sung and as long as south indian languages will live on in the ages of decimating languages via state impositions

The way Anuradha Sriram interviews PBS Sir shows a tinge of arrogance . People of TN listen to only Tamil songs unlike Kannada and Telugu people who listen to songs of all languages
