Trying to have a relationship with God without the Bible (the Word from God)is impossible. Matt:16: 13-18...The church is built on the revelation of who Jesus is! Only God the Father can give it to you by his grace Heb 4:16 and grace comes by praying and asking God for mercy. Then the Bible all of a sudden becomes alive to you. Now you have to have a new spirit for the Word of God to speak to you. It takes two things for salvation.... grace and faith. Faith is your part and Grace, ( ability ) comes from God. Eph 2:8-9. Some say Jesus is just a prophet ( like the world) but who do you say that He is? Good job Pat!

@@ryguy9353 : I did back in 93 i asked him why he took my girlfriend who was only 19 years old at the time due to cancer. He never answered back. That's when I realized even though I made my Communion and Penance and Confirmation growing up that religion wasn't nothing more than a belief nothing more.
