About to buy my first 2020 PSD 37k miles. I heard the CP4’s are trash. However been reading about the transmission issues in this year. Suggestions? Known problems?

Don’t do 22E04, two weeks later my truck is at the dealer to get transmission replaced

I can assure you, your transmission problem did NOT arise from 22E04

@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod it had no issues before 22E04 and shifted like butter when I wasn’t towing after the reprogram. While towing after the reprogram it slammed into gear. I towed a 14k lb camper from NC to SD in July without any issues. Towed is back from SD to NC and then started slamming into gear and slipping the first 4 gears in TN. Dealer told me this morning the transmission will have to be replaced. Maybe it was 22E04, maybe it wasn’t but I’m not going to recommend it regardless.

Truck is currently sitting at the dealership with a recall for the transmission. Debris lodged within the 'Park' mechanism may prevent the vehicle from achieving or holding 'Park,' increasing the risk of a vehicle rollaway and a crash. Is this normal for PSD to have so many problems?
