PBP Qualifier 300km Old Roads

Had a 27 mile bike ride today. First time on the bike in five weeks, it was super. There is a point where the bike turns into an instrument of torture, when things go "too far". It appears that you never venture into the realm of cycling, unless it is likely to go too far. I salute you Sir, the level of sufferring that you can transcend is epic, beyond my understanding, although when I was young I could easily do 100 mile rides, without much bother. I even did 120 miles one day, when I got a bit carried away with my super human fitness, thats a long time ago. These days, there is a lot of pain, neck, back, arm, leg, wrist, its all over and the longer the ride the more pain.

That’s a tough 300, I did it a couple of months ago as a DIY, unfortunately I wasn’t rewarded with the sight of a pile of dirt being transported though, that’s a real winner!

Wouldn't be a dangle bike without a clunking sound! I had a badger take me out on my single speed, very early one morning when I was a teenager , on my way to work while pegging it down a big hill . Bloody things are solid and have a bad attitude!
