Feel like if I was a woman, I’d hate being singled out and praised like a 4 year old for doing a good job sharing a toy.

We have come to the point where women in leadership is nothing new and it shouldn’t be treated as special. A leader has nothing to do with male or female . If you qualify then your it . This has been droned on for 40 plus years now. The new has worn off and it needs to be treated as such . Enough of the “we’re special” approach . Stick with the beauty of the parks and the wildlife.

I understand. but if there were no stories about this subject. would you complain? I think it's still a good thing to see such subjects covered. Are we there yet so that it's not a good thing?

Should there not be stories about the blind getting out in nature as well?

@@delllittle5692 your apples and oranges. Women’s status in society is railed about constantly as if no advances have been made and the suffrage movement was yesterday. Women are rightfully very well represented in today’s world and have been for years now. How comparing appreciating giving those with sight challenges an opportunity to enjoy our parks and wildlife to a social position some people will never believe is enough (even after decades of advancement) is ridiculous.

Maybe if a women was at the helm of TP&W, the state would have now owned Fairfield State Park instead of a developer. Good Job TP&W commissioners👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
