5 Iconic Alvin Ailey Dance Performances

Ailey choreographed "Cry" as a birthday present for his mother. 4. Love Songs, 1972. "Love Songs" is a journey of love and longing, set to songs recorded by Donny Hathaway and Nina Simone. 5.
