This is the board I used
Mickcris'THS7374-based board: This amp is another THS7374-based solution (filter off) that outputs a high quality image. This board is very inexpensive and a great choice. Please note that this board doesn't route sync, so you'll need to use composite video as sync, or build your own sync circuit. In many cases, simply using composite video as sync works fine.

haha yeah I did take some inspiration from Voultar's video. There's only so many ways to film an RGB Amp install :) The DIN mod is nice n tidy without hacking up the console. Have a good new years

I looked at Voultar's site a day or two ago and there was no option for shipping apart from the US :( I wanted to buy his RGB board for my DUO-RX, SuperGrafx/Super CD ROM2 and PCE+CD-ROM2 Interface unit. Was not happy when I saw no international shipping options. Really wanted the MEGA DRIVE amp as well. I have a RGB amp for my SuFami Jr already, but not sure if his is better. I thought about getting that, too. Guess I will have to ask my best mate to send them to me.

Great video! I did the same to my turbo duo but I do not get a signal via ossc. I got a signal only with a cheap scart to hdmi adapter, the picture was very clear. Im using shielded cables also. The board I used is similar to yours. Did I skip something? Any help?

Hey man I have a duo r with a new laser and recap and the sound tracks randomly stop playing until you reload a checkpoint or level. Any idea why?

Great video as always, Darren. Correct me if I am wrong, but aren't the Duo-R capacitors that need replacing to remove jailbars C903 and C909? console5.com/wiki/File:PC-Engine-Duo-R-PWA-3339-A-Jailbar-Fix-Locations.jpg PC Engine Duo (non -R model) is meant to be C908 and C923 afaik.

This info changes all the time, but I got the cap locations from Lord Voultar... he makes the boards so I assume he's correct. I think it's C923 that's the real issue, so I'd definitely do that one. The caps I replaced seemed to fix the issue well, but go ahead and do as many as you've got the patience for as new caps always help.

I have put lm1881 for generate c-sync in scart socket because may uses composite cable also someday.

Thanks for another great video - I've picked up no end of tips from you. You might want to pick up one of these: www.amazon.com.au/98Pce-Security-Screwdriver-Chrome-Vanadium/dp/B074NYWPMH/ - that Torx bit is a security bit, and these bits remove them easily. They're good for use on standard Torx bits, too. When I come across them, I usually swap the screws out in case I need to get in later. I look forward to your next video!
