Just a quick side by side comparison of the stock fans of a SounDigital 5k compared to Noctua's quiet PC fan.

No other fins want to work on my amp. Only original fins work. Why ?? I am Soundigital 8000.1 EVO 4.0.

Hmmm, not sure. I've replaced fans on the 3K and 5K without any problems.

i want to rig up extra computer fans around the amp in a box. can you make another video on how to connect the fans to power? thanks.

The best way, is to run a RELAY off of your remote wire to feed the fans. I'm sure you can find tons of content out there on it! It's quite simple really, I guarantee it! Thanks for commenting!

@@RodofAllTrades what would the risk be running a similar fan off the rem wire going into my amp? Im running my rem wire in 16 ga from a fuse tap.

@@zachzimmer6922 That's what I was thinking too. It's only .06 amps, I don't know why the rem wire couldn't run 1 or 2 of these little 12v pc fans. I want to build a box for my rockford R2 1200 mono amp that is going to be getting a 1 ohm load, I was thinking a stealth wood box with a square opening on each end, a fan at each end, one pulling one pushing. Amp volt watt calculator says .72 watts for one of those fans, so about 1.5 watts for 2 fans. The rem would turn em on and off when amp turns on and off, seems like that would be good plan, unless I am missing something, I am amateur at this stuff. lol

Because the remote wire isn’t carry a lot of current so I would be careful doing this
