@@BosSupes Not really when the RGB software has inbuilt temp lighting settings, Problem is not all RGB temp settings use the same color! Example Asus ROG strix cards have green to red lighting based on temp, then say you have a thermeltake AIO CPU cooler that uses blue to red and has the pump and 2 to 3 fans lighting up compared to a tiny part on the GPU so unless your looking at your case or have RGB in your peripheral vision while gaming which is annoying ASF it's really not that great and its certainly not creative :D

Yes, you can remove the arms, but you will see the places for the screws. Watch David Zhang review, he explained the good and bad points of this chair. You still have the "Ikea JÄRVFJÄLLET", more expensive but a lot more cleaner imo, some people say that's more comfortable than Markus, other will say Markus it's better. If you can go to a store, and try each chair before you decide. But everyone will say that both chairs are better than any racing car type of chair on a 200>$/€ budget.

I mean, sure... at first glance this seems pretty stupid, but there are plenty of people who have literally no clue when it comes to computers. Those are the people that go into a store and ask the sales person: "My son wants to play game X or Y, what can you recommend me?". Those people don't care about specs, clock speeds, transfer rates or anything else and they don't want to deal with all that... All they want is a computer that can properly run Fortnite or whatever and if a label like this helps them in making a (better) purchasing decision, there's nothing wrong with that, don't you think?

I got a Vertagear gaming chair 2 or 3 years ago and I thought it was so cool when I first got it. 2 years later and the seat material was cracked and my back would hurt after sitting in it for long periods, even with a break to stand up every hour. I upgrade to a Steelcase Gesture on the same logic "I spend a lot of time in this thing, I shouldn't cheap out on it." It's well worth the price and honestly even cheaper ergonomic solutions would be better than any racing style gaming chair with their utter disregard for comfortable sitting.

@@Fanatic102nd A friend of mine got a gaming chair. I knew he was going to get it, I adivsed him on alternatives. Better ones at around the same price range. However, there's one problem. One MAJOR factor that gaming chairs have over office chairs and it absolutely blew my mind. "But bruh, they're cool." Said mind blowing were a couple of blood vessels from the reasoning. Why care about how a chair looks if you're literally never going to see it when it is doing the important thing, your butt being on it?

@@Hiniberus I can understand his reasoning. Why not buy something you like if you have the money? There is no dispute that you can find a cheaper office chair that fits your body but there are people in this world who care about how their furniture looks and if they like "racing" chairs and it fits in their gaming room then so be it. If you are on a budget then I get it. However if you can afford it buy whatever the hell you want if you like it. And the reason may be as simple as "it looks cool".

Something that is comfortable, isn't always ergonomic. usually with "gaming chairs" the seat is soft, the chair is wide, and the arms are padded, but it doesn't have the features that protect my posture. A soft chair might be nice to sit in for an hour or two, but after 8 or more hours, my entire body is sore from having to support my weight in an non-optimal position. When I bought a chair with ergonomic features, My butt is a little more sore, because the seat is harder, but my back, and my knees, and my shoulders, and my neck don't hurt anymore because it keeps my body aligned ergonomically.

Just did this while looking for a new monitor, after my last one from 2014 croaked, by researching the available options online both off the shelf and by post. Finally decided on a Samsung VA panel based monitor from a local store, specifically the Samsung C24F39, instead of another IPS one like I had before. Part of the reason was when I plugged in my VA panel based Samsung TV from 2012 to act as a temporary monitor, the colour and contrast was just so much better. Also, it has the right size, look, and general feature set I'm looking for, such as backwards compatibility with old retro builds with a VGA analogue input to go with the HDMI input, while also coming with newer features, such as flicker free technology and a curved display, at a really good price. EDIT: Just before pulling the trigger on the Samsung, I just found another replacement monitor that I really like the look of, specifically the BENQ GW2470HL, that's currently available from online retailers. However, it does has two HDMI ports to go with the required VGA port instead of just one HDMI port, positive reviews on Amazon UK, and looks to be a generally higher quality monitor than the low cost Samsung, while still being available at around the same price. True, it doesn't have a curved display, or AMD FreeSync. However, the lack of FreeSync doesn't bother me as I'm an nVidia graphics card user, while the curved display is just an optional extra for me that I can easily do without.

Built my last PC back in 2011 when Asus just called the board "P8Z68V-Pro" and before that I had the "P5N32-E SLI Plus" and further back the "P4X266-A" Last year, finding out that Maximus XI Hero was the actual name they used for the board I ended up getting for the new build was slightly infuriating. Give me a logical code name, not some marketing wank name. I can not only identify the generation of the processor, but the chipset manufacturer/version and feature level from all the previous names. You CANNOT do so with the new marketing wank names at first glance. The code names are short and MEMORABLE. They achieve so much more than bullshit names do.

100% Stand (sit) behind getting a proper office chair over any other kind of chair. Good posture equals lasting comfort and less potential long term damage. I've been using my Aeron for a while now, done some 12 hour sessions (Blender then gaming) where I had no discomfort. No you don't have to get it at the silly £1k price mark, look for used ones (got mine for £250). Treat it well and it'll last for another 10 years, saving you money on chairs in the long run and your back/shoulders.

I bought a Herman Miller Embody several years ago. It cost about 1500 €. But in comparison it has a rather special frame, the backrest is simply amazing and it also comes with a full 10 year warranty. I've had to replace both arm rests once (the weakest link of the chair is the plastic locking mechanism for the height adjustment of these, although I propably adjust them more than most). Otherwise it's construction quality is close to perfect, it's very comfortable and it breathes thanks to the floating design. It's a pain to clean though. A very high quality chair, a display of engineering at a price and warranty that a high end product should have. I've also sold and repaired gaming chairs (various brands) and they are, indeed, really, really cheply made. Four typical problems were: bad threads and/or wrong sized screws (both were quite common), a twisted stand (the part with wheels was very often twisted like a propeller), bad welding of the base (the welds were often very shallow and sometimes broke off) and finally bad materials (the base would sometimes just simply crack at random places because of a porous result of bad casting). I've also worked in a foundry as a mechanic so I've seen (and made) some bad welds and casts in my days but nothing got out of the door there in a shape that some of the parts in these chairs seem to be in. Then again, quality control is the first thing to go with cheap stuff. But I viewed it as an investment, maybe for life (if it lasts that long).

Depends on how you treat noise/music and the headphones you buy. If you are a casual music listener and treat music like background noise, a pair of audiophile headphones will hardly sound different to a pair of 20 dollar ear buds or 300 dollar Beats. It takes a dedicated listener to appreciate the clarity audiophile headphones deliver. The pair of headphones matter too. Each headphone from reputable brands like Sennheiser, Beyerdynamic, or Fostex will sound different and be spec'ed different. If you don't do your research, you'll be dissatisfied that your PC isn't strong enough to run your headphones or the headphones have too much bass or treble for your liking. So before you buy audiophile headphones, actually do some research on the matter so you don't get disappointed by your purchase. Check reputable brands, go to an audio store to try them on, and make a decision.

I just hate being forced to pay extra for the RGB because they do not include the features needed in a vanilla style motherboard. There used to be more vanilla styled performance oriented motherboards that were relatively low on extra features, but provided excellent value. Now, these boards are extremely crippled with much lower VRM quality and you need to go up 3 tiers of additional RGB and features that wont really be used to get anything decent. I dont hate RGB, but there are plenty of users that arent interested in RGB, and want good performance for a good price.

@@Morpheus-pt3wq not in every situation. Solid state caps last a lot longer than the old style of capacitor. (Solid state, aka polymer cap are a feature.) So if you keep a system long enough (not constantly upgrading) that has solid caps than a good plating on connections is desired. Granted I live in a high humidity area so I have had a PCI slot on a HP PC that was used in the garage green out on me. But typically works laptops the USB ports crap out on us. We are constantly plugging and unplug hart/rs-485 modems wearing down the protective coating. Than out in the field. I’ve tried so many chairs it makes me sick, but so many chairs gave me back pain with prolonged sitting. I was on the verge of buying an ergonomic specialized chair until I gave one last ditch effort into the Secretlab chairs (Titan)...I cannot imagine using another chair.
