@millzie5 well, 4 months passed since your post but I thought I'd reply anyway. this is MGS1 set in Shadow Moses, MGS2 was afterwards but in 2 parts: Tanker w/ Solid Snake @ Hudson River: Capture a few photos of a new Metal Gear Prototype. Big Shell w/ Raiden in middle of the sea: Main chunk of story.

I remember being stuck on the Psycho Mantis boss battle and when you played on the PS1 it used to occasionally make the screen go black and beep, making you think he was messing with your TV set ^_^

Only to find out many years later that you had to plug on the controller to the 2nd controller port, and if it was the gamecube version...i believe it was the 3rd or 4th controller port.

@cmonconan it kicks any arse today... the quality of todays games is truly shocking in both length and originality. Today, if they're not recycled FPS they're not very good. And look no further than NFS: The Run in terms of 'Completion Time' with a grand total of (at most) TWO hours... Resident Evil, MGS, FINAL FANTASY (Squaresoft era), GTA, Medal of Honor (PS1). What do they all have in common? ALL were unique and ALL took long to complete (except MGS1 ofc). Hence HD remakes =P

@DarthPingu07 cheers buddy I was mixed up i usualy play through mgs1 and 2 one after the other , and to be fair the story is gripping enough and enjoyabe that the graphics dont fase me in terms of enjoyment :D either way totaly guna get it for the wii (gc)

@millzie5 not a problem mate... I'm not a jealous person but I wish I could play MGS1 again in HD but I reckon they are remaking it and throwing it out as a stand alone game because it's the one game out of the series that has no bs, no player changing (i.e. Raiden), it was the one that opened the series up to the majority and even as re-release it would be a AAA title that would wipe the floor with many annual games. It deserves a re-release, it's age doesn;t do it justice lol.

Say you turn on auto-fire on the ps1 controller, if you hold on a button for about 2-4 seconds it will render up as you repetitively pressing that button about 20-50 times

Pasadenaboy27 ,I'm sorry about replying to your comment after 1 whole year, but you're mistaken about that. I have the PC version of 'Metal Gear Solid INTEGRAL' and I can explain this. In the options screen, you can turn off the special effects and when you turn off the "optic camouflage effect", you get what you saw at 00:43:53 -
