oh my god...I was just browsing through your videos and happened to click on this to see what it was...and the music spurred some deep long forgotten memories...I was like "wait this sounds is familiar...why do I see space ships in my head". Looked up the game and holyshit, I fricken remember playing this! I had completely forgotten about this, my god! Hell I'm gonna go find this again so I can re-play it! How could I have forgotten about this amazing game, thank you for jogging my memory!

Actually, that is the reason (not the only, but :) why I love to reconstruct the old good tunes we all played a decades ago ) I was literally stunned by Terminal velocity, with its beautiful atmosphere of space gloom and great music. I don't think I've kept the line with my redux but at least I've chilled my flame of thirst of remixing :)

NU music Nice haha, I can relate too, I've done a few remixes of game tracks myself, mostly from MechWarrior or Unreal/UT99. It's a ton of fun to do, to go back to those classic sounds of nostalgia and remix them into something new =)

Actually You'e right, it wasn't my intention to keep the original spirit this time, it's far more remix than redux and it has it's own non-space and brighter sounding whereas original track is quite dark and gloomy. Nevertheless I hope You'll enjoy a bit with this free interpretation =) And yes, my next TV reconstruction will be "Ymir theme".

Got myself reacquainted with this game on GOG.com, nearly 20 years since then, and I really REALLY hope I see a remix of the Crythania level like you did for Ymir. I know you're the right person to do it justice. Hell, the right person, PERIOD.

It's quite interesting and challenging thing - to use (if possible) my original sounds and get as close as I can to remix's original tune %)

Shizzlenizzle, Your feeling don't lie - I like Trent Reznor. Maybe I like his vision, his ideas sealed in music even more than, actually, NIN songs. Anyway I'm a big fan of the "Ghosts I-IV" album. And I'm a huge fan of Chris Vrenna' creativity in videogame development.

Хехе, спасибо, было бы круто глянуть на ремейк. Да, я хотел еще пару треков сделать, помню "пустынная" тема клевая и какая-то зеленая, возможно, одна из них как раз Эригон. Вообще, все треки хороши для ремиксов, там основная тема секунд 30-40, остальное можно вольно додумывать.

I loved this game growing up. And I now currently have it on my computer running through DOSBOX. Well this song right here was always one of my favorites which you freaken nailed it so I now got me a copy of this on my MP3 player. I also liked the Ymir Theme. I'd loved to see what you come up with for Proxima Seven (Computer Level).

had a lot of great memories of this classic game. unfortunately this redux version was not much of impact like you did with dimension 2012. the tempo is fine but siren at the background is just unnecessary. suggest you try the Ymir theme of Terminal Velocity, nobody can ever resist that first mission bgm.
