Man, I had to go to ChatGPT to help me find this game. I've been looking for it for two decades, literally! I used to play it as a kid on my first PC. However, I vividly remember that the plane was jet black and at the end there was a cobra like boss, shooting numerous projectiles. Was it the boosted edition or something else?

With Exception for 16:9 I don't see any boost. This being both good and bad.

Can you turn the filtering on/off? The XBox Trailer shows no filtering on textures. It is a great game..but filtering must be. My first 3dfx game

What is the difference between Terminal velocity and Terminal velocity boost edition???

Terminal Velocity is the original game release in 1995, while the Boosted Edition is the recently released remake.

@@overagegmngcom I'll ask that too. Are these versions different apart from the release date? Watching the gameplay, I don't see any improvement compared to the previous version.

no, unfortunately it does not support mouse input at this moment, although arguably it might feel more natural to control it that way.

Having played the original shareware version back in the day, you most def would not want to play it with a mouse. A flight stick with a Point of View hat or a dual analog controller would be the way to go

I'm so used to doing 3d space fighter games with the keypad that I could never switch over to mouse and expect to be any good. Flight stick is optimal, tho, yeah.
