I just got delivery of a Cayenne - not Platinum Edition, but with many of the same options. vs. Macan: Macan is smaller than you might think (and I am tall). It was a non-starter. vs. facelift: wait times are *long*. Here in Korea, they are measured in years. also: I like the center anologue tach and 'proper' shifter - both will change. Remaining changes I think will be minor. Mine is an eHybrid, so there is always the possibility of a battery capacity bump - if so, that would be the only thing I'd regret.

You did not mention that the "Platinum edition" is a way for Porsche to try to sell their current Cayenne models to make way for the new facelifted 2023 model arriving at dealerships mid 2022. I would rather wait for the new model than buy a repackaged "Platinum edition" of the outgoing one.

Does the smoking package add any 12v plugs? How many 12v plugs come with the cayenne without the smoking package? And where are they located?

Hi Neil! The Cayenne comes with 3 total 12V plugs, 1 in the center console, 1 below the glove box and one in the rear trunk! The smoking package adds an ashtray in the front and rear but not an additional plug. I would recommend adding it as I believe it gives a bit of a cleaner look 👍🏼

Yes this could very well be the final year of this body style! Typically once Porsche releases this trim they are in the final year(s) of production!

Love your videos! I'm in Canada and just ordered a 2022 Macan S...I wanted the cayenne for the space however I didn't want this year's model because it's getting refaced for 2023. Now I'm having seconds thoughts because the Macan is too small for my 2 car seats and stroller. I note the platinum package is available. What do you recommend I do stick to Macan S fully loaded with pasm and air suspension and bells and whistles or a platinum package cayenne?

Thanks Neil! Appreciate the support! Congrats on the incoming Macan S! What part of Canada? Personally I would stick with the Macan as I really enjoy the driving experience! The Macan will easily be able to handle the 2 car sears. How old are your kids are the strollers pretty large? This may be a bit tight depending on the size 🤔

@@dasilnei I believe somewhere in a past video mason showed a side by side size comparison of these two. Sounds like the trunk size with a double stroller will work ok with the Mccan but it’ll depend what else you need room for.

Hello! The 911 has the option for the same system as the Taycan... Porsche Innodrive including adaptive cruise control and active lane keep assist! In terms of parking they do differ where the Taycan has Active Parking Support where it will find a spot and park itself the 911 does not have this feature but does Remote Park Assist where you can pull the 911 forward and back from the Porsche Connect App while outside of the vehicle 👍🏼
