most youtubers/content creators get these parts from the company for free to test and review and potentially just for advertisement. I would suppose if he gets to keep them he can just sell them and make some more profit or use the money to buy other components to further make more tests and reviews, hence more content for his/her page. some items kept for future builds/tests and or simply just used as collectibles.

I only keep ASUS if it works well. Their Armoury Crate software is really terrible, so I avoid buying their motherboards at all costs. ASRock and Gigabyte make great cheaper motherboards with simple software.

USB4 fully supports 100% of Thunderbolt3. The “USB40G” is just short hand for “USB4 at 40Gbps speed” since older USBs before v4 can’t do that speed. And Thunderbolt4 is the same as USB4, just with many of the optional features of USB4 made mandatory under Thunderbolt4.

AMD is doing the Intel thing, were you have to pay big for 2 extra cores. 9600X is still only 6/12 cores with just 6MB more L3 cache and higher clock speeds. 😂 Price for the 9600X will probably be 350 USD 😂 Since 7600X was at 300 USD

I never understood "heatsink". Stupidity as far as I'm concerned. It's like wearing a fur coat in the middle of summer, then putting on overtop the fur coat an under armour cooling shirt. Why???? Why not just take all the shit off entirely including the fur coat?? Would think the einsteins would realize it would actually be cooler having a fan blowing on the bare bones, rather than some material that is supposed to dissipate the heat faster, completely covering it. I know when I'm hot outside, I generally put a fur coat on. So I cool down..... I know I know. It's all about the bling, bling, gadgets, geeky nonsense, and don't forget the lights. We have to have the lights. Computers have gotten to the ridiculous point now where people spend more time building and ogling them, rather than actually using them.....

companies make multiple motherboards to cover all pc enthusiasts/gamers/companies budgets. they must make affordable boards for low budget and so on and so forth for higher budget builds. like i am not gonna use a 500$ motherboard of a 140$ CPU and not gonna use a cheap motherboard for an i9 or some other flagship cpu etc...
