@@priincebrvce7213 What do you mean 2 years, I upgraded from a Ryzen 5 1600 AF to a 5500. I don't have a pcie gen 4 motherboard that I got in 2020. I got an asrock B450M Steel Legend pcie gen 3. The 5600 in my country cost 50-60 dollars more than the 5500. I had my Ryzen 5 1600 AF for almost 5 years but only because I have 4 ram sticks instead of 2. If I had 2x16GB ram then I would have kept my Ryzen 5 1600 AF for another extra 2-3 years. I am a casual gamer. I run games under 2023.

Allows me to render a 1hr 4k video in PowerDirector 365 in only 15 minutes, instead of 2 hours which is how long it would take with my old system (i7-6700k, gtx 1070).

@@skillertk4934 5700x3d and 4070 would have no issues destroying all games in 1080p. 2027 and you're still gonna cruise through 1080p gaming high settings even on AAA games. I have aa 5700X3D + 7800 XT on 1440p and I have 110-120 FPS on high settings without frame gen on Horizon Forbidden West, which is one of the most demanding games out there.

What I understood from his video was that the 9 7900 would be better as it has more cores and does more calculations, whereas the 7 7800X3D would be best for FPS as it just does the same few tasks really really quickly, but yours is the same question I have.

I have gone with the 9600x as it's currently in 14th place on Tom's Hardware charts for gaming and at £229 I class it as a bang for buck budget processor, It's not too bad for applications either if 105w is set in bios as gives a healthy uplift.

The Ryzen 5 6-core chips are still budget kings. The 5600/X is $110($70 if you know where to look) for mid level gaming and the 3600 for $50 is great to pair with 6600 or 7600 GPUs. Add a $17 Thermalright AX120 cooler, $70-$100 B450/B550 mobo, $50 32GB 3200 CL16 RAM and you're set. You can also pick up the 5700X3D for $130(AE) or MC or Neweg bundles with mobo and RAM.

I have an i7 13700k on an MSI MAG Z790 Tomahawk with stock settings. With the BIOS released 08/12, I had three BSOD while installing Windows 11 Pro. The BIOS fix does not work for me, I'm AMD bound and $1000 Candadian out of pocket now due to needing a motherboard and supported RAM. Based on the performance of the New lineup, I do not see you would get much from waiting instead of buying the 7800x3d. It devours everything and will be sufficient for several years. And you are on the AM5 platform, which will be supported several years to Come. New lineup will be more expensive and how long will you wait to use more money instead of buying a very good CPU now and have some fun. Good Luck with your build😊

@@FollowDripp i know the feeling. I just build my first PC, and have never opened one before, and knew nothing. There Will always come something new and more powerfull in a year. Simply because we are so reliant on computers. So I had the same dilemma a couple of months ago. Should i wait 6 months or buy now. I did not want to wait, for using more money and not having the ability, to play some games for several months. I bought the 7800x3d, since its the best right now in all resolutions. Its performance is so good at the moment, that I cannot see the point in waiting months for maybe a bit better fps and power consumption is low, so how much lower could it get.

If I would have bought my PC prebuilt (with my PCU and GPU combo). I would have had to Pay around 500 dollars more. With an inferior mobo, Ram and PSU. I paired mine with a 5700x3d and 7900gre. Its absolutely overkill already for 1440p ultra settings. I'm sure if you have the budget, 7800x3d is a no brainer

I just got the 7900 GRE. I love my card. But honestly. I think if I would have went with the 7800xt I would have been JUST as happy and spent much less :). Definitely get that CPU though it's a beast! I wish I had that instead of my i9.

As a gamer that also wants to dable in creation kit for starfield i went for a Ryzen7 7700x with 64gb ram on 6000mhz and cl40 combined with a gigabyte radeon rx 7600xt with 16gb of vram. Going from a 2019 laptop with Ryzen5 5600h and 16gb ram with a rtx3050mobile gpu and only 4gb I hope it does the trick and i am able to use the kit, and have sf run above 35fps 😂 To be fair, all cpu seem to have issues atm. It always was about the rng for silicon and with these latest cpu releases... Thats even more the case, just find that cpu you know it wil do what you ask and hope for the best when you buy👍🏻 6:15
